thanks for the link on the weebos app. That looks like an extrodinary app if I can figure out how to create rules! Very nice Rom so far.

edit* is there a XML tag to control background data? cant find any app to be able to control the background data to either work 1 all the time or 2 only when i use the phone or 3 only when i use that app. I tried out ZDbox yesterday its good ,but still doesnt control background data.Smartactions has one version of their app that does it. Locale is too much and I dont think tasker does it either.

does anyone have some rules, besides the stock ones on the app, they could share with me so i get a better feel for this weebo app.

Having an issue phone turns off after a phone call and never boots up I have to delete ROM slot 1 then install it again so it can boot is there a fix for this

The Avatar Team is proud to present the first beta release of weebo app. It is a Tasker like application which can automate tasks for your phone.

The application comes with pre-defined set of 20 common rules but you can add your own rules in sdcard (/mnt/sdcard/weebo) and it will be automatically picked up by the application. To activate a rule, click on the corresponding rule (rule will get highlighted)

The rules are simple XML files and you can find more info here.

I will first say i really do enjoy this rom, the features are nice and most of the time runs very smooth, love the theme accessibility and access to change them, I have this on my phone and also on a co-workers phone only problem is as if the rom locks up in black screen, ive got mine out a few times but today i couldnt, had to hard reboot phone, co worker has had the same issues a few times. only other thing is i get unexpected errors in which i hit send info to who needs to see it, my phone will be hibernating and when i open to make call or text i will see these. I have no idea what is erroring but besides the 2 sec it takes me to click ok and send, it dont really bother me, just figured i would inform someone.

edit:
also noticed my icon for my exhange email is gone, it is still setup but have to use the widget to access it, and it wont automatically push an email to my phone when i get it, though it is set to do so, this is my work email so necessary in order for it to work properly.

I would like to know this info as well. I've got a friends xt910 rooted on the leaked Rogers ota update from Canada. I'm hoping to find out if I can flash right over the existing kernel and ics update, and jump right to this jb rom. It sounds great and I'd love to try it out. Any feedback about this would be appreciated. Thanks in advance guys!

Move existing DCIM folders out of the way (Backup media and remove them from SD card.). If it doesn't help, try to backup both SD cards, format them and start afresh. It seems that you may have a corrupted media file which causes media scanner to exit or to hang (So it spins, eating CPU power, battery power and makes device unresponsive.).

I love this ROM! I am not used to CM or MIUI. When I try to share a contact info card, I don't get an option to send it by text. I get email, drop box and Evernote, but no text option. Is there a way to text contact info because I do it often for my work. Thanks in advance.

For some reason after flashing, I get no network connection, I'm on a cdma network (Verizon). Saw someone else was having this issue as well and there wasn't an answer so i'm throwing it back out there. Re-Flashing now. Will update if it fixes itself....

Update: It is now telling me to insert SIM card. Which is already done. Reflashed to another rom and it works fine. I will stick with this until I figure out what my issue with this one is.

Problems with weebo

I'm having problems with weebo. At first it would not learn home or work locations, and now it just crashes when attempting to have it learn a location. I have already tried removing and recreating the locatins, but that didn't work.

    • Weebo --> Fixing the issue where files cannot be read from /mnt/sdcard/weebo folder.

    Avatar Theme Creator Tool

    Avatar Team is proud to present the first beta release of Theme creator tool. It is a QT based desktop application to edit themes.

    Themes created using this tool are compatible with Avatar ROM and Cyanogen ROM. Similarly you can edit both Avatar Themes and Cyanogen themes.

    Download the theme apk and open it using the theme creator tool. You will see a screen to edit the resources. After editing the resources, save the apk and install on the device.

    What you can do with this tool ?

    1. There are 1000's of resources that can be themed in Android. We change only a small set of them and if you want to theme more resources you can use this tool.

    2. We make some mistakes when creating a theme. Eg: SMS time stamp color was not proper in some of our themes. You can now use this tool to fix it.

    3. We cannot satify all the users with a theme. Eg: If you want to have a darker orange shade in denim theme you can now do it using this tool.

    4. You can import an existing theme, change some of the resources we modified and you have a brand new theme.

    Upcoming features:

    1. Ability to create a new theme from scratch.

    2. Import MiUi mtz theme file and convert it to theme apk which is compatible with AvatarROM and CyanogenROM.

    3. Upload your new themes to our server so it can be used by other AvatarROM users.

    4. Html5 based new theme creator tool which is more elegant and user friendly.

    Go to settings, about phone and tap on build number for 7 times. It will enable developer options.
