Hey op, I think the reason for him asking was that some people have reported flashing ColorOS (Not sure on the source) but then their memory getting reduced down to 16gb on a 64gb device.

I'm not a noob by no means, but I was wondering what the setup process was for this rom, whether different from other roms. Also can you cover returning from to CM in that process. Thanks.

I tried 4 other versions of the COS Rom from version 1.2 to 2.0.4 beta on my China 64gb but seems like my phone either goes on a boot loop or if it does boot, it freezes, there no signal and Wi-Fi does not turn on. Can anybody help with this as I want to try COS on the OPO

This is the only rom for coloros that didn't wreck my phone. The other version of coloros reverted my phone to a 16gb version, took a few mins to fix it. This version flashed very nice and works well.

Thanks for the confirmation.

I'm trying to flash the beta to test. After much trying, i managed to flash version 1.2 via TWRP but i had to wipe even the system in order for it to work smoothly. I guess version 1.2 is the most stable and the latest version available.

I always wipe everything other than internal storage before I flash new roms. Just make sure to do a backup before to switch just to be safe.

I'm making a backup right now, i'm going to do a little bit more digging because I don't think a Nand backup restores baseband and I am not sure if ColorOS has a different baseband. I would post in the Q&A section as well to see if anyone has any suggestions as well.

Update: Backing up now. Sorry for the delay.

While I am backing up, I would download this colorOS rom, and maybe download the PA or PAC from the other threads and put them in your internal memory and you can try to flash them as well. I would also reboot in to TWRP, and create a backup of coloros so if this doesn't work you could always go back to colorOS at the very least.

    Update: Uploading to host site
