Freaking awesome ROM! Thank you to the whole team! But I'm with the guy who was talking about the animations coming in from the side. I tried settings-ROM control-animations. But from there what do I do?

Sent from my SPH-L900 using XDA

Apologies, it is actually in Rom Control - General UI - ListView Animation. In there you can turn it off or change it.

Thanks, actually an AOKP base with a bunch of added/custom stuff.

So I see. :) Lots of great stuff in here...you may have just replaced SlimBean as my daily driver

Only a few minor things I'm not seeing that I kinda miss....is there a system DPI selector somewhere I'm not seeing? Is the status bar tray and notification drawer itself able to have transparency tweaked?

Very strong first release. I'll play with bluetooth pairing in the morning. ;)

BTW as far as the earlier wonderings about S-Pen functionality you can get all of it back and more with the following off Play: CM S Pen Add-on, Note Buddy and Handy Note (Pro). All except Handy Note Pro are free, and combined you get all the goodness of Spen integration of TWiz. I prefer Handy Note any day over SPen app and its fugly widgets TBH even if I still used a TWiz ROM as my DD.

There is no DPI selector right now. As far as those transparency settings look in Rom Control (where everything is) and then go to General UI and Transparency settings.

I know that the S-Pen can be mimicked through apps, but I want to add further support and I don't want to bloat the ROM with apps that other users won't want. Especially for different devices.

Well been running this beautiful ROM since this morning, and I could say I'm happy with this ROM. For me everything is working fine . A good GPS lock good 4G lock. MMS work flawless.. Did a clean install coming from swampmonster. And can't say about the battery life yet until tomorrow. OP keep up the good work. Maybe my new daily driver.

I have not rooted my note yet. Came from the OG EVO 4G and I always loved ROMS from Team Dirt. You guys allowed me to be happy with my EVO for 3 years! That's saying something.I'm researching what my first ROM is going to be once I root, and this might be it. At any rate, cant wait to try it out.

Keep it dirty!!!!

I love this ROM! Its works flawlessly and has a million features. GPS and LTE work well. The only issue I've came across is the suspend action feature, when I enable it and have it set to only 2G when screen off. After the screen turns off it switches the network mode to WCDMA and I have to switch back to get signal. Other than that the ROM kicks ass!

Did you do anything to get MMS to work correctly? The pics I send are very low res. Did you change any settings in network mode or the app? I assume you are using the stock MMS app... Thanks.

That's interesting. I'll look into a fix for that.

There was an issue with the send limit being set low. I have since upped it but have not put out a patch yet. I'm still testing internally before I push it out.

This ROM is awesome! SMS and MMS work great! Only thing, I can't seem to pair my Bluetooth headphones. Any suggestions? Thank you much!

Is other bluetooth pairing working? Can you pair with your car?

Pairing sorta works here for calls.

Similar issue with the 4.3 dialer that I was having in slim bean. Call history isn't accessible via Bluetooth on my car in dash unit. Calling via scrolling contacts or manually entering numbers works however.
EDIT:Call history works fine after a repair.

You setup a custom font in this ROM? I ask as the typeset seems narrower than stock, and ifont doesn't want to install 3rd party fonts like recently supported in other 4.3 ROMs.

Those issues aside I love the ROM.

That font thing is weird. We use the new roboto light. You should still be able to install a 3rd party font.

My point of reference is the SlimBean 4.3 builds...where recently iFont (free on Play) updated and started working last month installing their fonts like Ubuntu for example. On DU, I D/L then apply and reboot and nothing visibly changes.

I'm being picky here, mind you :)

Dirty Unicorns is a custom ROM built with stability in mind and optional customization. The idea to start this ROM began out of pure boredom around 4.1.2 on the EVO 3D and later turned into a form of an addiction (a good one) to see where we could go from there. We have since expanded to more devices to include the HTC One, Nexus 5, SGS4 and many more. We quickly realize that users loved what we were doing as well as other developers because it was done the right way. We've always had fun doing it and take pride in knowing that we've done it without having to bug the end user for donations to pay for server costs and/or any of those sob stories you hear. This ROM is 100 percent free and will remain that way.

Those wanting to use our ROM as a base are more the welcomed to do so but please maintained the credits/thanks below, do not ask for donations as it wouldn't be fair to do so considering and let us know as we often like to contribute to other projects.

As stated above, we love to maintain authorship but we also like to publicly praise those that have helped us along the way with our wonderful project. With that said, this wouldn't be possible without the work and help of those listed below :) THANK YOU ALL!!
