Has anyone tried a third party app such as Textra?

Also do I still need to use the old display drivers? I updated to the latest and wonder if I need to rollback?

I'm on the new firmware and the touch worked great. I use chomp and got text no send
I'm back on senceless ROM I have to have Bluetooth as a delivery drive I just wanted to play around

Current bugs (they are known):

  • SMS sending will not work (receiving works)
  • Dialer sub-submenu FC's the dialer
    [*]Keyboard FC's when gesture swiping

The keyboard doesn't force close on me during gesture typing?

First impressions:

Very, very smooth (scrolling through app drawer has no more microstutters when going from apps to widgets :D).

No root it seems, despite superuser being present.

Minor cosmetic glitch with the kill all button being partially cut off in the recent apps switcher, it is still usable.

Very good for an unofficial build, all that is needed is for the SMS issue to be resolved and nightlies can begin!

    CyanogenMod is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 4.3 (JB), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

    Code:
    #include
    /*
     * Your warranty is now void.
     *
     * I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
     * thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
     * do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
     * before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
     * you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you.
     *
     * Submitting bug reports on nightly builds is the leading
     * cause of male impotence.
     */

    CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

    All the source code for CyanogenMod is available in the CyanogenMod Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to CyanogenMod, please visit out Gerrit Code Review. You can also view the Changelog for a full list of changes & features.

    So I see daily that CyanogenMod is coming out with all these new and some great ways to reinvent the wheel!?!? But have they even figure out how to get MMS, low volume, proximity sensor and numerous other bugs fixed yet?

    With the limiting they have done with their customizations I think they would have plenty of time now to fix these DD needs.

    stop moaning and start working. no member of the cm team gets paid for the work they do.
