[RUU][NEW] HTC Desire V T328w (HTC Wind) (NOT FOR BRAVO)

CAUTION: DO NOT ATTEMPT TO FLASH THIS RUU OR ANY PART OF IT ON THE BRAVO

This is the latest official RUU for the newly released HTC Desire V T328w (HTC Wind). It is a China-only variant of the Primo, with ICS 4.0.3 and Sense 4.0A.
The most important aspect of this phone is that it has almost identical hw with the original desire, and most importantly a SoC with a built-in Adreno 200 GPU, same as Bravo.

I already picked apart system.img and it looks legit. Here are some sample files while the RUU is being uploaded.

Does it include Gmail and others google apps?

Google apps are not included on the official version which I bought in China.

I was surfing on internet and I found that it has adreno 205. In fact the cpu is a Snapdragon S2, like a msm7227 if I don't wrong...
Maybe you can control in build.prop or wathever are this information.

Actually it has an MSM7227A SoC, which is an S1 with Adreno 200.
If you download the attachment you will see the relevant libs.

You are right, as far as I can see Vending.apk is missing from system/app directory. Maybe there's another market installed?

I need not only the google play store, also the google account manager, contact sync, calendar sync, gmail etc.

I'm downloading the RUU. Is it the initial unrooted version? I'm wondering where did you get it since it is a china only model.

I really hope Sandvold and Shaky will be albe to do something with it and Desire will get proper ICS with Sense 4.0 although I do not like Sense much. Still would like to try it on my device and maybe give it a chance.

You can try extracting those apks from another sense 4 rom. From HTC One V for instance. Yes, this is an untouched RUU.

this is the dual-sim (GSM + WCDMA) phone custom made for China Unicom, and as result almost all Google Apps are removed (Google Play, Youtube, Google contact etc.) And there is no other version of the release for outside mainland China.

Its a waste of time tbh, had a quick look, sense 4.0 isnt difficult, ive choosen to leave it as a last minute thing

At least it shows that sense 4 + ics is working perfectly on adreno 200. That's something
