It's not worth double posting a thread. You can simple supply a link in your thread. I also find many with a link in their sig. This will most likely suffice.

@TonyStark, at the bottom of the OP where you explain how best to explain the new members problem, it would be a good idea to add the following link to help them aswell - [HOW TO] make a substantial THREAD, POST, QUESTION and POLL

Good read. Though it would also be interesting to have a way for existing devs who aren't XDA members (like me ) to be able to fasttrack out of noob status, for example by answering some questionnaire on coding, hacking, or dev-related matters. Having to submit 10 posts (while waiting 5 mins in between, and having to find meaningful things to say) just before I can reply to some questions on other dev forums is somewhat tedious...

No matter the length of time you are here. No matter the content of information you poses. There will always be somebody with more knowledge that will call you a noob

Remember it is in most cases a joke. While you may find some that can be rude about it, simply don't reply to such comment's. This is one of the first steps to loosing the noob nomenclature.
