Thanks for the invite. When I click the link it takes me to Google play and I downloaded the app. But it doesn't give an option to use the invite to register. It says login or enter email to get on the beta list.

The app you download IS your invite. You need to create your account through the app. Then you can log in through the website or mobile app. At least that was the case for me.
The installer is attuned to the email address you were invited by. Hope that helps.
There is no option to create a beta account. This is all there is.
