hi , my phone is rooted and S-off with virtuos rom installed. i was wondering which one of these radios do i install on the phone because am having the reboot problem when my screen locks also. this is the radio that is currently on my phone

radio 1.09.01.0622

I haven't heard too much about the .0320 but the .0312 and .1111 have been stable. My understanding is you can flash each one and try it out, but you are advised against flashing the same radio on top of itself...

.0312 or newer should be what you want to use.

It can be different for anybody. Do some test on each one. Or run one for a day then the next for another. It seems some people are getting different results.

You have to remove or rename the file on the sd card, probably by removing it and doing it on a computer.

Pop your card out and then while entering recovery put it back in and you should be good to go.

Thanks for this! Had the same problem and your method worked. I just rooted my phone the other day so I am still getting the hang of it, but it there any way to boot straight into recovery and bypass the hboot besides selecting reboot into recovery while the phone is turned on. Basically if I am flashing a radio, I would like to go into recovery to wipe the cache before restarting. Also after flashing the radio successfully should I move the PG32IMG.zip file into a different folder so it doesn't try to reflash it when going into hboot? Thanks again for the help.

Yes to your last question. Once the phone boots, rename or remove the file from root.

AFAIK, you can't really accomplish what you're asking b/c it always "reboots" into recovery. Even using a rom manager will still do the same thing. You could reboot into recovery, wipe, power off, remove sd, rename file via pc, replace sd, boot.

Appreciate it! I've rooted my tablet, but this is the first phone so it is a little different with the radios and such. Cheers :good:

is anyone having issues with text messages saying they weren't being sent (when they are) with the .320 radio?

edit: nevermind, i'm dumb for using ICS radio on GB.

Hey not sure what to do.. I just flashed the CM10 beta from aeroevan which booted up just fine. However, I tried updating my radio from 0.99.01.0225_2 (yes i know...) to 1.09.01.0320. this resulted in what i assume is a bootloop seeing as I waited 5-7 minuets for it. I figured it was just the radio so I tried 1.09.01.0312. same thing... im honestly not sure what to do.

I have an old Nandroid backup as a last result.

Any help would be awesome, thanks!

I had to do an "adb reboot recovery" and wipe cache before my phone would boot, it may be CM10 related with the .320 radio. I don't know if a nandroid backup would fix the problem. After wiping cache everything was working normally.

Also if you don't have a computer handy, as someone else told me when I had the same problem, hit reboot and take out your SD card so that it won't try to reflash the radios again and boot into recovery. Then you can mount the SD card and clear the cache which worked for me.

Can someone re-up the .1111 radio? I have the .0312 one but I think that's giving me the "SD card unexpectedly removed" error that some people are having.

I finally took the plunge and tried flashing a radio. First try scared me with this newest one. Stuck at boot image. But rebooted into recovery and wiped cache and it worked fine. Then tried .1111 due to some saying they preferred it, no issues. I downloaded over wifi straight to my phone, checked md5, rebooted into bootloader through power menu on cm7.2, and flashed, all went well, thanks guys. It is so much easier than I thought.

    Code:
/* I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
     * thermonuclear war, or the end of the world. Please do some research
     * if you have any concerns about flashing a radio before flashing it!
     * YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if you point the
     * finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you. */

    How to Flash:

In order for this to work, the HTC Incredible 2 needs to be S-OFF. Flashing the radio with a corrupt file or interrupting the flash, can brick the device, please proceed with caution.

    1. Download the your choice of radio for the HTC Incredible 2.
    2. Make sure the filename is PG32IMG.zip exactly or it will not work and copy it to the same folder as adb (the /platform-tools folder within the Android SDK folder).
    3. Connect the HTC Incredible 2 to the computer via USB.
    4. On the computer, open terminal and run the following commands:
      Code:
      adb push PG32IMG.zip /sdcard/PG32IMG.zip
      adb shell md5sum /sdcard/PG32IMG.zip
NOTE: The md5 should match up the provide the original download location. If not, redownload & try again.
      Code:
      adb reboot bootloader
    5. The HTC Incredible 2 will reboot & usually boot into fastboot. Pressing the Power button will put the device into the bootloader.
    6. The bootloader will scan for the radio update. Once it finds the update, select Yes.
    7. Allow the bootloader to finish flashing the updated radio, and reboot the HTC Incredible 2 normally.

All Verizon Wireless customers are discouraged from flashing anything OTHER than 'x.x.01.xxxx' radios, for stability reasons.

    Alright,
I pulled the radio.img and the android-info.txt out of the firmware update and zipped only those files back up to create our flashable PG32IMG.ZIP for you radio junkies. :silly:

I have already updated to this firmware so I have not tried this radio zip.

    Rename to PG32IMG.zip
Put in SD root and flash in bootloader.
    FLASH AT YOUR OWN RISK

    http://www.mediafire.com/file/0hpyi140dpsn6zl/RADIO1.09.01.0320-PG32IMG.zip

Let me know how it works. :fingers-crossed:

Had to go find one of my posts on RootzWiki to remember the full radio version number haha. The RUU version can be found in the txt file in the zip.

From the 5.10.605.9 OTA: Radio Version 1.09.01.1111 (US Verizon)

Sent from my brain using human to phone transport technology.

    Champion mate, cheers.

Also, both radios confirmed working on GSM unlocked DInc2.

MD5 sums created, and OP updated to reflect changes.
