[GUIDE] How To Overclock Samsung Galaxy Ace Plus S7500

NOTE: I Will Not Be Held Responsible For Any Bricked Devices. Please Use At Your Own Risk.Will Be Fine If You Follow Exact Instructions!

Things you will neeed: (all links below)
1.ROOTED DEVICE
2.Clockworkmod 5.0.0.4.tar
3.Odin v 1.85
4.Update-kernel-Trebon(thanks to mb-14)
5.Rom Toolbox Pro

Steps:
-Transfer update-kernel-trebon to your sd card
-Your device should have clockworkmod 5.5.0.4 installed by default if
not flash with Odin(open Odin and click ''PDA'' and select clockworkmod
5.5.0.4.tar.Turn off your device and boot into download mode by holding the volume
down+home+power keys together.Then press volume up to continue.Connect your phone
to pc by using your usb cable and in the ID:COM section in odin you will notice a yellow/green box pop up,this
means that your device is connected and ready.Press ''start'' in odin and leave to finish,then reboot your device if
not automatically rebooted.)
-Turn on your device into recovery mode by holding the volume down+volume up+power+home keys together
-Navigate in clockworkmod by using the volume up and down keys and select using the home key.Go to ''install zip
from sd card'' and ''choose zip from sd'' and choose update-kernel-trebon.zip.Then reboot your device
-Finally install Rom Toolbox Pro and under performance you will see ''cpu control''and then ''cpu sliders'' where you
change the frequency of the cpu to maximun '1305'

You Will Definitely Feel The Performance Bump In Games!

I haven't tried using 6.0 but just in case you wanna try it I recommend doing some research first because you never know what can happen.Going back to CWM 5.0.0.4 is a very easy process though,all you have to do is put your phone into download mode and connect to the PC and open odin3 then flash the cwm tar package as PDA and wait for phone to reboot.Good luck with everything man :highfive:

overclocking is not related to recovery its a kernel thing :good:
you can overclock your processor with any recovery it can be twrp (in my case)

Hey does this kernel work on any ROM ? and do i need to have the exact CWM version u mentioned up there or i can use a higher version ( im using 6.xxx )

I don't know about the ROM part because i lost the phone but yes it will work for your CWM version also

Worked for me on stock 2.3.6 with CWM 6 though

I tried installing Rom Toolbox Pro, it says I don't have enough free space but I have almost 1GB :-/
