Found a little bug.
This is probably due to the new MUIU or whatever its called Music Application,
but whenever you enter car mode and select Music, it states "Activity not Found"
Not really a big deal but an error none the less.

I'm really loving this rom, thanks a lot! I do have a problem though, after a lot of different attempts, i'm just not able to install whatsapp.. I tried the following:
Installing whatsapp from a backup
Removing from market
Reinstalling from market
Wiping with Ti Backup
Removing with Ti Backup
Factory wiping device (with the hacked menu AND the basic menu)
What happends i get to enter the #, recieve the sms and see the congratulations screen, but when i click continue it just shows a short signing on message which disappears but it doesnt leave the screen.. Is this a whatsapp bug and do i need to wait for an update or is it actually connected to the custom rom? Running 1.5.3 with baseband by the way, everything else seems to work.

I am having 2 issues with the latest 1.5.3 build

for those of you having issue try the stock build;319 for O2 and 318 for att you wont and then decide from there,peace

I was actually having some extreme force close problems with 1.5.2. For whatever reason the problems are completely gone on 1.5.3. However I am now having some extreme force close problems with my camera. it won't even start up. As soon as I try to start it, it force closes.
Just upgraded to 1.5.3 from 1.5.2. Everything works fine. The video quality of front facing camera seems better than previous Steve's ROM with the front facing camera function. I came across the video recording time limit issue, but pressing "camera settings restore to defaults" button made it unlimited. Thanks whoever gave that inforrmation on this forum.
Streak Radio looks cool, but it is useless in Japan for the FM broadcast frequency range is lower than other parts of the world. If Steve could make it wider, it will be great.

still doesnt work. I went from 1.5.2 to 1.5.3.
FFC worked with fring, now doesnt work at all.
could be a GPS issue. try to turn off your GPS as soon as your phone gets turned on. It should stay on (hopefully), then after fully on, turn on GPS when needed.
sometimes my phone restarts when i have both GPS and Wifi on at the same time
dont know how but for some reason im not getting signature verification im using same update.pkg but now im getting error/sdcard/update.pkg.dec (status 2)
been looking status 2 up but the tech site that i found to have the info wont load up (just my luck)
guna save the pkg and try a 2.2 from the dell site

Go into Settings, Applications, Manage Applications, find the current launcher you are using, touch it.
Scroll down the page to the "Launch by default" section and click the "Clear defaults" button, next time you hit the home button you'll get prompted for the launcher you want to use.
Both Radio and Navigation are working here... ex-AT&T Streak upgraded from 1.5.2 to 1.5.3 this morning.
And you should watch your mouth... there might be kids around!

I can confirm navigation works for me no problem. Used it for about an hour today. No camera fc either though I haven't recorded any video. I even got my screwed up swype working correctly!

The update process is now very simple to do

The recommended Update requires you to upgrade your device baseband, this is a simple procedure via fastboot.
rebelsim users should use only the nobaseband update file and use the 2.1 baseband or they will encounter problems

1. Copy the update zip to your memory card first
Steps 2-4 are only needed if you are coming from a build OLDER than 1.2
2. Power down your streak and boot into fastboot
do this by pressing power until the keypad lights come on then HOLD camera until you get to a white screen, then tap on the fastboot text in top right corner,
3. Connect your streak to pc - the text on streak should change to FASTBOOT_MODE.
you should place the amss.mbn file into the same folder as fastboot on your pc
run the following commands from command prompt on your pc
Windows:
LinuxCode:fastboot -i 0x413c flash amss amss.mbn
4. Type the following commands to reboot your streak - again alow it to boot into the main ui - you will lose network connection for the moment, this is fine, also streak WILL reboot twice before booting, again this is normalCode:fastboot flash amss amss.mbn
Windows:
LinuxCode:fastboot -i 0x413c reboot
Code:fastboot reboot
5. Once your device has booted shut down again and boot into clockwork recovery by doing the following
boot to recovery as per step 1 then choose option 2.
6. Flash the 1.5 update zip
7. reboot
