why, when I get connected, it starts to sync and never stopped, even if I set the manual sync?

I also see sometimes this issue , but never on a blank installation. i think it depends on facebook or one other app ! I will investigate that. There is no traffic but still the sync icon. I stop it via setting widget "htc sync" Just add to you homescreen and click it to start or stop syncing.

That's what I do, but I'd like it stops itself.....

Thanks anyway

The version 4.4 causes the command "adb root" to give the error
"adbd cannot run as root in production builds"
I think your version 4.3.5 did not have this issue, maybe your clean up of the build props is the problem.

I have the zip of your 4.3.5 on my computer, but on my wildfire I am currently running your version 4.4 and I'm trying to getting my reflashing down to less than once a day, I don't want to distroy my internal flash memory..
But I will try your adb-root-test.zip now, will report back soon.

EDIT: sorry, but flashing the attached zip did not solve the problem.

Yes that works of course, root permissions are not a problem, but to write to the system partition you have to manually remount it as read write, if that "adb root" command works than the programm "QtADB" can do this without any problem and I dont have to manually remount and do my stuff in the su shell
