Waouh, I see. so what can i do? In fact I used to BE ON 4.3 ON THE phone. I dont know a lot about phones but I heard that knocking KNOX and having my binary count diffeent from 0 would prevent me from warranty and my phone wont get fixed by samsung. I already contacted samsung and they sent me a label to put on the phone and send it back to them so they can fix the sim card reader. My only issue is that my binary count is at 8 now and knox says 1 as well. so whatever version I might put the phone on, 4.1.1 or 4.3, all I want is to get the phone to the state that samsung would think that never rooted it. Any suggestions?
By the way, I appreciate the fact that even walking to work, you were thinking of my issue...

I was walking into work this morning and the light bulb went on in my head ....

I'm wondering if that's why updates are not working because your phone is not registering on the network.

This is only a guess.

I haven't read back over everything, we're you ever on 4.3? Or are you just trying to get back to 4.1.2, then run the Triangle away to reset it to look like this

Since the Knox is tripped and says 1, supposedly the warranty is already void.

So, there is no way getting around that. You could reset the binary count, there's no way to reset the Knox counter. At least for the general public.

This is just my opinion, since it's a hardware problem (sim card issue), they are going to replace parts and reissue it as refurbished, if it can be repaired.
I don't believe they are going to care if it was rooted, custom rom flashed, whatever.

Again, just my opinion, they may view it differently. I am hoping for the best for you, of course.

There is this...
http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=2484338

But I will need to ask Zen is he can remove the Root and Busybox from it.

You will need to do this.
- Second step is:
You will need to download TWRP 2.6.3.1 and flash it in ODIN.
http://goo.im/devs/OpenRecovery/t0lt...lteatt.img.tar

Then you can flash the I317-UCAMH3 Stock ROM (if Zen can remove the Root and busybox for us)

After that flashes, then you can boot back into the TWRP custom recovery, and flash the stock CWM AT&T i317 UCAMH3 Stock *Recovery* Note 2.

That will get you back to 4.1.2, then you need to run the Triangle Away to reset the binary count. Only issue would be the tripped Knox.

He read this thread and reminded me you still need to root to run Triangle Away.

So you are best off to do this

Download this
i317-ucamh3-stock-cwm.zip
http://d-h.st/ZhU
AT&T UCAMH3 i317 *Odexed* Stock CWM Note 2

You will need to do this.
You will need to download TWRP 2.6.3.1 and flash it in ODIN.
http://goo.im/devs/OpenRecovery/t0lt...lteatt.img.tar

Reboot to the TWRP recovery and flash the i317-ucamh3-stock-cwm.zip

It should boot right up with no problems.

You will need to connect to a Wifi connection to download triangle away.

Sorry to jump in late here, but here are a few thoughts:

1 - You have the MK6 bootloader, so download mode will show you should be running 4.3 firmware

2 - Non-functional sim reader, so no ability to upgrade via OTA

3 - Sending phone to the service center with MH3 firmware might be a red flag given (#1) above.

Question (to dicksteele) - have you tested whether Triangle Away works to clear the counters other than the Knox warranty flag from a rooted MK6 firmware with the MK6 bootloader (assuming that Knox has been disabled from AOS?). If the answer to this is yes, then a cleaner approach would be to do the following:

1 - Flash the MK6 Stock rooted Odex package (Odin or CWM) - if CWM, a custom recovery needs to be flashed first (you may also need to flash the MK6 tz.img - I will have a link up for that on my MK6 thread today)
2 - Boot phone, update SuperSU, run SuperSU, update binary, disable Knox
3 - Install Triangle Away - either buy from Play Store or sideload most current from XDA thread
4 - Flash a custom recovery and then flash the stock MK6 recovery
5 - From phone OS run Triangle Away and reset flash counter - follow instructions and when done reboot to phone - not to download mode
6 - (optional) here you can power down phone, boot into download mode and confirm counters have been cleared
7 - Boot phone OS, run SuperSU and from Settings select Full Unroot

At this point you should be good to go. The only thing not covered here is Busybox, which will still be present in /system/xbin. If the service center goes looking for it they will see it. To remove that would require some additional steps prior to step #7. If that is of interest I can provide them, but I will need to do that when I get home from work this evening. Actually, a simple solution that would work would be to remove the busybox binary from /system/xbin using 7zip prior to copying to your phone for flashing in step #1. This might not work by itself though. You probably also need to extract, modify, and reinsert the updater-script from this folder - META-INF\com\google\android and remove the lines toward the bottom that reference busybox - there are two - one that sets permissions and one that runs the install.

If you'd rather not do that, I can make the mod and upload a de-busybox'ed version temporarily - assuming DS can verify that TA will work on MK6.

just saw it and downloaded it. So should i just flash it and thats it, or there are additional directions?

Follow the steps I provided in post #47 substituting the file I provided in post #53 at step #1. The recovery for mk6 can be found on my mk6 stock thread.

Hi DS and Zen Arcade. I did everything just like Zen Arcade described, but now I am stuck at step 4. the Custom recovery and the stock MK6 recovery. My question is where can I get the custom recovery? ( I may have it already without knowing), and the stock MK6 recovery, is that the same one I used in step 1 ?
Thanks for clarifying it to me when you can.

Have you tried to Odin back to a stock 4.3 ROM.

You might want to try the one click.

Thanks for your quick reply. I was indeed on 4.3 when I rooted the phone. ABout knox, I may have done it without knowing. how was I supposed to trip knox? I hope I did not. Regarding the sim card, the phone definitely has a problem: we have tested several sim cards from different companies in it, but it does not work. before that, I even went to my company, changed my sim card. That new one worked in my friends phone but wouldnt work in mine. the first day it had just a bit of signal then 2 days later, no signals at all. Please let me know about how I was supposed to trip knox, so that I see if I did it or not
    Thanks
