Just for information ...
I have a I9100P (S2) on 4.0.3 using test 0.1.5 apk. If I launch sky go with mhl adapter it kills hdmi signal but by unplugging the mhl usb from phone and then plug back in, i get sky go on my hdtv
I have no playback problems with my MHL adaptor either, I just get SKYGO running and then plug in the MHL adaptor, then it's on the TV wherever I may be.
I must be the luckiest Samsung SGS2 and Galaxy Note (both running ICS 4.0) owner on the planet?
With ICS4.0 still in the final stages of "beta testing", (allegedly.....lol), and still weeks if not months away yet from Sky themselves, Gumbalds app has left me really pleased, to make a ridiculous understatement, and has saved me having to get a supplementary phone to use on journeys or when I am visiting/away from home and want to watch some sport, or a footy match or movie etc.
All SKYGO channels play fine for me via the Micro HDMI port too, just the same as on the actual phone screens and, as I subscribe to all of the channels, it plays all SKYGO channels on my TV without problems.
The biggest confusion to me is that the NOTE isn't supported at all, on ICS 4.0 or on the previous setup, so how this works for me without rooting or any adapting of either of the phones is a mystery, but I am not complaining
I just wish I knew why to be able to help others do the same.
RE: post no.1986 - vwvanman - thread page 199:
Hi, did you have any luck with the way I loaded it?
Have you tried both of Gumbalds versions?
I ask as I actually can't remember the versions I used. Version 1 or 1.5 etc.
