OK, this blue Tooth is kicking my butt.

I'mma start over tomorrow. Guess now that everybody on the new RIL. even if i did get it working, it wouldn't work. SO, gonna start on the 2.5 build tomorrow, and grab a copy of HTC (1) RUU, and see if i can get the btooth build from there.

See if i can find just the drivers for bcm4330-b1. I'm sure if they have that, then the libs come with it. Should be as simple as handing it over to you so you can finish it up in the framework. I'll message you later and let you know how all goes.

Great rom "BORED". 2.5, runs smooth. Some of the window transitions seem to pause for a second, and quadrant score dropped down to 2700 for me.

Nite all. Got a Class A inspection tomorrow. Def gotta get some sleep.

Can someone explain exactly what the RIL is? And what the RIL fix does?

its the radio interface layer. it is what gives us data. 4g/3g/1x

the fix, meaning got it working @ all with these sense 4.0 roms.
hopefully thats a good answer 4 ya.

just search, you will get lots of results. Radio Interface Layer, without this you cant call anyone or use data to browse

So I guess the next question is, what is the difference between the RIL in RezRom v2.4 and Joel's RIL fix which was included in v2.5?

The original fix contained one x files. Joel took the time to use a newer code base and put it into evita files

2 More questions...

1. Any way to go back to the 5x4 app menu easily? If not, no biggie...

2. Any way to fix the sms time errors? Incoming seem to be off an hour or so, depending on who the sms comes from.

sms time stamp from google play will fix sms time issue, bored will have to answer ur other question

has anyone using amon ra been successful in renaming and restoring backups? im just switching back to it. it is the fastest recovery available right now so im switching back. thanks

I have no problems renaming in file explorer and restoring. Make sure you use the newest amon ra, I think it's 3.15

I look at it as having two girls at once Nd then having to revert to one until the other feels better.

Since the other Rom is worked on by both bored and Joel. And this one is just bored. Ya dig? Lol.

renaming nand backups and restoring? NO
I usually just go by date.

i only ask because, when ive made a backup in the past, and then renamed it because i cant remember which is which and go to restore it wouldnt let me. so i thought i would ask if anyone has been successful with doing it. thanks for the replies guys.

When I want to "name" a back-up, I just shove it in a ZIP. No harm done.

v2.5 exchange policy

Hey bored, running the new v2.5, setting up my exchange active sync account, keep getting prompted to enable the security policy. Can't proceed/sync mail/calendar until I enable it (not gonna do it

). Is there something else I need to do to bypass?

Great rom, running this all day but turned my phone off for Reggie Watts stand up tonight and when I turned my phone back on lost data arrows but data is still working. I'm running the 2.5 patch. Anyone else have this happen?

I've renamed them in root explorer and restored just fine. Using Amonra 3.15
