Sent from my GT-I9300 using xda app-developers app
And yeah for me the first thing I'm gonna do when I get the phone is the most grandest of all!!!!!!!!!
Press the power button!
As far as I know there's a setting on which we could set the default homescreen back to the old android style. But yeah blinkfeed will be the default on factory setting. Same goes for the 3x5 app drawer. You can set it to 4x5 also. Not sure about the horizontal scroll though and yeah horizontal one is alot more better if you ask me.
Regarding root the moment any even average developer who knows how to extract and repack ramdisks get's a hold of the phone then root should be available. I for one can create a rooted phone in just a few hours. Just
Unlock the phone, dump the kernel, extract ramdisk, insert root there, repack ramdisk, reflash kernel = root. But making a custom recovery to root the device is another thing..

But OT, I will use it to convert even more iphan boys lol. To date 18 people have switched because of me. I'm trying to break 20 before the One comes out.
One X had some military training man?
And believe it or not, the bluetooth still worked well enough to play music on my other car radio afterwards !!
for me, turn off blink feed thing.. then unplug my n3xus 4 from
its permanent spot "the charger" and use it as a door stopper
A lot of hate towards blink feed lol imo its actually looks pretty good! Interesting idea. Don't know how the battery life will be affected by it but it seems like I'm like the only person who kind of digs it

I'm seriously boring !!! ...
The first thing I'll do after taking it out of the box and turning it on is to sync all my data from the desire. Then I'll use it to write a nice long thank you note to HTC Marketing for being generous enough to give it to me as a replacement for my totally smashed one-X. Then, out of respect to the company's Development team, I'll at least spend a week or two coming to terms with the stock software to see how it fits my way of doing things ... After that ... I'll be back to see how the custom rom world is shaping up > ...
But right now I need a phone I can use for my work so perhaps I'll keep this one in original form until my current contract expires next February, when i can get the next one up and play with this one
Here's the (ex)One-X after it tried to make friends with the cooling fan in the back of my Volksrod !!
