I'm working from this thread:

http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=2537248

trying to get the Cyanogenmod 11 working on my Galaxy Player 4.0 trouble is my home button isn't working when I get it installed. Actually it's not really installing properly at all, though if I wipe data/cache and try again after taken back to the recovery boot menu it installs and boots up only my home button doesn't seem to work. According to the directions I'm supposed to backup my efs file by executing this code:

dd if=/dev/block/stl3 of=/sdcard/efs.rfs

others in the thread have reported similar problems with their home button not working after the update, and they recommend restoring the efs file. I don't understand how I implement the code I thought it was a adb command maybe??? I don't know I restored my phone to stock and it's working fine though I wanted to get it working Cyanogenmod 11. I can't post in the thread cause I'm new. I think?
