Great work. :D Maybe in the later on stages of development you can mod the kernel to implement transparent notification bar and softkey notifications. :D

Transparent notification bar is nothing in kernel, its a theme thing.
Softkey notification can be usefull for i5801 users. You could try implementing neldar`s bln.

G3Mod v1.1.1 TEST KERNEL UPLOADED

Changelog:
Filesystems Support added
init.d support added
data2sd support added
CWM recovery now works if pre-installed on the ROM and filesystems as follows: /system-ext2 /data-ext4 /cache-ext2

the G3 app will take some more time, as dympy who is the developer for the app is busy with some other project also.
Thanks to dypmy for taking out the time to develop the application for g3mod kernel :)

Similar to fugumod...just change in folder to /sdcard/Android/data/g3mod...

Sent from my GT-I5800 using XDA App

instead of only /sdcard/android... can we also have some file from /system/.... ?
so that when custom rom is shared, it can have predefined fs type.
if user wish to change fs, they can use /sdcard/android....

the problem is that the kernel reads from that file during conversion...
and if the system is itself getting converted, there is no file :p
still nice idea, i will try something on these lines :)

Update.zip can write to sdcard, also u could do an init.d script to place the file on sdcard, remove itself and reboot...

Hey Dharam, I'm in the second cycle of battery charge with v1.1.0. Indication seems to be ok. Maybe something else caused the drops in the first cycle. I'll update later with data, as I'm in 40% after 48H !!!

Hoping to see OC quickly :D
