Gotcha, just trying to narrow down the issue. Rom developer said kernel that's why I asked. Thanks.

Confirmed tether not working with newest PAC and PA, so...more testing will proceed.

I'll test as well as I'm on pacman from kibizzle.

I'm also running the latest PAC. Camera worked fine until I installed SOAPKernel, then the old freeze up and crash with touch focus came back. Fixed when I dirty flashed PAC back over itself. Shame, because I love your kernels. :(

PAC + SOAP caused the 4.2 camera to freeze and crash if you touch to focus/flash. The built in kernel doesn't.

I experienced 3 earlier today. Didn't get a logcat though since I needed my phone for work and didn't have time to debug. Newest PACman rom.

Reflashed, so far so good.

EDIT: still running great, must have been a bad flash or download. Sorry for false alarm.

Could someone explain to me why "Android OS" is using so much battery life? When screen off time is low you can really tell. Never happened on my GNex, Nexus 7, or when I'm running a TouchWiz ROM. Seem like for me its happening on most of the AOSP ROMs. Someone recommended I flash this kernel to fix the issue but the same thing is happening. I keep my sync off 90% of the time. Any suggestions would be highly appreciated.

Yesterday was the first full charge on the kernel running AOKP build 5. I was NOT entering deep sleep which seems common with AOKP. I have already wiped data and removed SU privileges for performance control so that can't be the reason for not entering deep sleep. As I assumed, today has been the opposite, I have been going into deep sleep as it should.
Battery life seems slightly better and very responsive!
    Thanks

I LOVE the Saber kernel for TW roms, but the Force kernel always gave me problems on the AOSP roms I tried it with. Does this new kernel essentially replace your old Force kernel, or is that one still good for certain specific situations?

This is taking over for force kernel on The newer builds that had issues with force
