RULES:

Before you start using this rom here are some things you need to know:

1. I am NOT updating every week (I work 6 days a week and have a 2 year old and Pregnant wife)...

2. Don't ask for ETA, this is rude and offensive. When it is done it is done.

3. Custom Roms come without warranty. They are tested before release but something always can go bad. So if you broke your phone or you got fired because the alarm didn't go off - I am not responsible.

4. Support is limited. Sometimes I can answer your questions sometimes I don't have the time. There will be times I don't have an answer so please do no repeat your question or get offended because I haven't answered you.

5. Don't compare ROMs. It is rude and offensive for developers. If the other rom has what you need, use that ROM.

6. Don't Kang my work. You may fool everyone else but I will know! If you want to use something just ask!

7. If you like my work, a five star thread rating and hitting the thanks button motivates me.

8. No flaming! We have all been a NoOb before. We are here to help each other.

9. Read the change log. All relevant important information is there first! i.e. Bugs and fixes if there are any at the time.

HOW TO INSTALL:
1.Download ROM (and aroma addon if you need it) and place on SD
2.Reboot into recovery

3.Wipe / FORMAT / U MUST Create new rom slot (only if on SafeStrap obviously


4.Install the ROM (this is my personal choice its got all I need and is essentials only much faster!) Reboot if on MK2 / Safestrap - Verizon and not installing aroma addon apps. MJ7 or other SS users flash modules & restart.


5.(THIS IS NO LONGER A SUPPORTED OPTION your free of will to try but know its buggy) Install Aroma Addon's choose NO WIPE and Rom Install or you'll end up wiping the rom.. The make sure to unselect MK2 SS VZW near end of aroma options. SS doesnt like that option so don't pick it unless you like bootloops All apps in aroma are either Samsung, Google or an AOSP / free version of paid program. Nothing illegal or full versions for free... I wasn't aware i'd be packing an aroma so I lost track of where a lot of the ASOP/other apps are from. I did put Shaftie's Onyx Keyboard in place of the google keyboard that kept FC'n (still is even tho its not installed I know an am working on a new version) so stop at Shaftamle's sweet themed S4 keyboard thread and thank or donate to him if you like it!

6. If your not on another carrier or MDK model then restart after aroma...optionally you can flash the contacts fix now too before restarting........

7. If on ATT/Verizon MDK and not on Loki recovery, you need to flash Loki patch! - Loki patch.....Then install your usual or favorite kernel or try the bioshock 4.1 kernel from Jamison. If on a carrier other than Verizon you'll need to flash a compatability zip package a kernel (or SS module if Safestrap is available to you) and your carriers modem/apns. Please do not ask or request these here PM me if you can't find them by yourself but its a simple google search away...

8. Reboot if done installling

9. Wait five minutes for all to settle as this is a highly tweaked ROM check out the optional bootanim in aroma if you smoke nows a good time for one.


Set APNs if it didn't stick

Additional install info:
Driver for Viper4ANDROID = CortexA8 with NEON
Now enjoy the fastest and most customizible ROM for the S4.

newest version of Nemesis for verizon - 3/1/14 - this includes different ASOP themed dialer and contacts matching the 3mint theme of the ROM. be sure to thank/buy a beer for Jamison just google him and Infamous as i can't post the link to original thread ?! there will be 2 inital FC's reguarding the new asop dialer but thats it the only time you'll get them is 1st install. updated setupwizard and a FIXED few other issues. please hold off on using the aroma installer unless you absolutely want to try it. i'm developing an aroma installer that will be generic and port any rom to from any S4 device instantly as well as mods,keyboards,apps and bootanimations. if you have anything you think deserves to make it in the installer post here. I havent seen an FC for a day so i'm considering it good to go. please post in the verizon thread any problems. gapps/user programs are more specific to what you've loaded so if you havent tried a different version or arent using the stock (by stock i mean what came with the rom) it probably isnt compatible. also added some early wip flash packs for major carriers/mdk to use with my ROMs please PM me results, they wont brick your phone as long as you flash the right one... actually no matter what they shouldnt but dont hold me responsible unless it works then donate

Amen to that! I'm one of those poor safestrap souls (or would be a poor soul if it wasn't for Gogolie). I'm having fun again. Nothing wrong with Hyperdrive but a man likes options and variety and Gogolie delivers bucket fulls.

I love you too no homo. been busy getting back at it just reading through old stuff. no issues besides loud noise startup and the bootanimation only plays in certain dpi or whatever... (my bad been trying to make my own bootanimations just figured out how to make those qmg and their way easier than I thought lol suprised no one has ripped that from the samsung theme app for a portable might do that for fun sometime soon) I've bit off more than I could chew but considering the roms have needed little support maintaining 12 isnt hard lol.. it is i appreciate all users and friends chiming in with help and everything sometimes i get to juggling and lose track of progress or dont get an issue ironed out for everyone before I think its good enough but really its been more of a fun learning experience I got to look into how the best ROM cooks for Samsung / in general do things and improve our phones. i'd like the thanks going to them without them there is no me. I had a lot of other cool ones to show off ages ago but a few developers don't like to share their things even when i'm attempting to show more people their creations and its an honor in my opinion for anyone to want to bring a sick ROM to more users but I believe in unity and equality and if the developers from S4 would have gotten together early on at least the US ones we could have had a unified system perhaps with more developments capabilities ect before the knox came since all the phones are literally the same as me and jkruse, sbreen, hashcode and surge1223 others have shown most developers are not shy and if support would be enjoyed or appreciated by a carriers users they will port or with help bring out a version for that carrier. example would be @iB4STiD per a recent convo hopefully I convinced him to start putting out Verizon releases I told him i'd set them all up for him or port he can release and maintain whatever I'd just like to see Goldeneye and skyfall roms for verizon hes a great developer on his game constantly updating renovating and inovating whenever possible. so hopefully 4.4 leak drops and we see him come to life on VZW. but ya whoever runs in and borrows 4.4 vzw gets a beer from me 4 sure. Im drunk tho long rant bed awaits just wrecked some fools to finish that tournament 1st place looks much better than the teams 2nd place trophy i hate 2nd place lol

BOOTANIMATIONS/BOOTSOUNDS and PWROFF ANIMATIONS/SOUNDS:
for more info on poweroff.ogg and poweron.ogg bootanimation.zip and the .qmg samsung type files and changing them just google those terms have a .ogg friendly sound app ready and ya sorry not perfect on this last release tried to make a cool nemesis themed bootanim and shutdown but ehh my version ended up dif than the posted ive got 3 TB of partially ported or diff versions of all these roms seriously too many to keep track with when trying to port 3 at a time heh. otherwise you'll have to wait til Pimp My Startup/Shutdown is ready for public consumption early beta right now anyone with some free time and root level apk creation abilities hit me up i've got a few new apps and tools me an a few friends from at&t / tmobile started collabing on

if you wanna fix mine for me, tell me what was wrong with my desc, or have a better full shutdown/startup or any type of fix for an issue with a rom that could help others and ready for any of my roms let me know / hit me with a link and we'll update together you'll receive full credit for the fix/addition to ROM anyone in love with a ROM and looking to maintain / update the ROM with future updates let me know i'll pass off everything get you set with permissions from original developer and let you be the deciding factor your favorite ROM's future as I'll only be able to continue support of the top requested ones as its just gotten a bit too much work for a hobby n springs bout here and its not -12 degrees out anymore lol.

oh and thanks vzw couldnt have done anything without my unlimited unlimited unlimited 4g (save me 60$ a month in internet dont stop keep it real been vzw 10+ years)but I tethered 17TB in a month I'm sorry but that was for promising me 4g and convincing me to buy that LG Revo with no support; n i was abuilding my son a wicked hyperspin arcade but just unlock the bootloader starting with your 4.4, remove knox and all other debilitating software stop doing what should be considered illegal things with property you force the sale of and turn up the pace on your updates and it wont happen again HA

Go to /system/media/audio/ui and find the file named PowerOn.ogg and rename it to PowerOn.ogg.bak and you Boot Sound is no more.
