***DISCONTINUED***ROM ► CORSIFAME ► JB 4.1.2 ► s6810 / s6810p / s6812

Finally,, I had a chance to install this rom, sorry takes a long time to give a feedback
It works really great; smoothness, no lags of course.
i have some feedbacks on this rom:
- i'm really impressed with the camera and the gallery, loved it
- for calculator, i prefer the stock one, why? when screen orientation set to landscape, it has more features, but this rom's version hasn't
- for the dialpad, before i flash the attached file on .. page, it was ok, after i flashed it, it same with other testers, too large
- playstore, it's working fine, but when i tried to download an app, it couldn't download anything, i supposed you've deleted the system-apps-download-related-apk
- i have s6810 so i flashed it with s6810 rom on first page, but when i check on about device, it appears as s6810p (see attachment)
- i didn't notice it very much but, it seems the battery last longer
- i'm glad that mtp working well on this rom, i have some bad experience, i couldn't get connected to pc with some other roms
- yes, like someone posted before, that i too prefer battery with percentage
- is there any way to not to format the data first before installing this rom? (i haven't tried yet though )
- i wonder, is this rom using touchwiz? when i fresh installed (only s6810.zip) the interface is 'that' launcher, and then i flashed the other zips (modification.zip i think), it returns to touchwiz launcher, i noticed the appdrawer button, and the interface (notification toggles esp.) returns back to stock
- i also not of big fan of this font, so i flashed it with my fave, but it went wrong, the font didn't appear as it used to be (i flash vkasraj's recommended thread on corsicanu's thread)

i think that's it, i'll let you know if there's some addition..
i'm really looking forward to this rom!!!

Dialpad link for S6810 seem to be down.

Got my phone back.. I`m installing CorsiFame as we speak.. Btw thanks for adding credits to the name of the rom For the future i will help and support the developement of this rom but i won`t release another as i`m focusing on the kernel developement.. :highfive:

AOSP Style

I have noticed that many of you are asking for battery percentage. If you are using corsicanu based Roms, I think that you can use this mod since I used his SystemUI.apk to do modifications. I did this for S6810P model and I don't know if this will work for other models. Do try and report... Download from the attachments and flash through recovery.


I also changed the position of the toggles to suit my needs. I also plan to change the look of the toggles to blend into the blue AOSP color, and to improve battery icon a bit.

ROM Test Feedback [S6810]

First and foremost, thanks for the great work done so far.
I use a Fame 6810 which now reads 6810P though ... I have no idea why but not worried because it does not affect the phone or the ROM's functionality in anyway. :good:
I have been on this ROM for the past 72hrs and counting.

Pros:

Great ROM
Great speed
Great reliability
Great battery life
Smooth

Cons:

No Gmail App ... Can't be installed from Playstore either. - Now downloading 4.1.2 GApps to install via CWM would report feedback
Dialer still seem chopped off at the bottom
Font change isn't effected on dailer - so increasing font size makes things look terrible on interfaces that haven't got the font modification
No battery percentage indicator

Over all, I love this ROM and look forward to seeing bugs fixed.

The package includes latest playstore, services and the fix from yesterday for contacts/calendar syncing with google account. Cheers!

I´ve seen many packages (base rom, fixes, etcetera...) What are the packages for install in a 6810L? Thanks for your help

first make a full backup of your current.. flash the rom for s6810 from first page and after that flash playstore fix from page 5.. if you have 'no sim' or 'no service' error, restore your backup... that error is related to ril and for now there's nothing to do.. cheers!

and then Launcher Like S4(Some Thread have Ported launcher S4 but it's not compatible with S6810)

lockscreen wallpaper is only supported by samsung stock gallery
and this romdoes not contain it at the moment

I am using the Light Version for S8310P, problems found:

Dialpad is down (only half of the down buttons are showing) and i try to install the fix, same problem
How can i add an Exchange Account since there is no native mail? (i am not talking about gmail)


The rest i like the rom, its fast and there is no "garbage" install like the stock version.
