Fix for blocked from tethering

I am on 3 network with an unlimited data except tethering. Is there anyway I can get passed this block so I can tether to my ipad air? Is there an app available or will it involve editing files on the phone>

I am on Viper ROM 5.0 with Elemental Kernel V13.
