Your using the toggle. The hotboot comes up when holding the power button

Yes...I think it's something in the base ROMs personally.
I will say though, I just did a full-on clean install of jedi here and this version absolutely rocks! Fast, smooth, great battery, responsiveness...it makes the Note II what it should have been from the get go.

I have to agree with ptmr3 here. I have a Verizon wireless hotspot for when I am on the road and that works perfect. Then as soon as I get as close as my neighbors house, my home wifi picks right up before I even get out of my car. These wifi issues sound similar to what was happening to me on my Optimus G when that bloat app AT&T wifi hotspot finder was constantly searching for a nearby Starbucks or whatever business in the area has available wifi for AT&T users. I did a full wipe clean install but then I started pushing inverted apps from several different places and then odexed on top of that. My friend Rujelus22 wrote a script that deodexes and odexes whole ROMs or single apks as well as decompiles, you can theme apps, recompile and sign the apk. Well when it starts it first checks everything, if there are code errors or any error at all it will fail and show the lines of code that error out. Well that being said, it odexed perfectly, no bad lines of code were flagged either. It worked just like it did on the other 7 phones I tested using deodexed stock ROMs. If a feature is missing, it is probably tied to one of the removed apps.
Sorry for the long winded post but I have tested for many devs and themers and if I had any problems I would have restored my nand but 6.1.2 has been flawless for me. Major props to ptmr3 for putting together such an outstanding ROM!!

Screenshots in OP remind me of what can be done with wave launcher, but in a cleaner way. Would love to see that mod/app available for all ROMs/devices.

This is normal and has been mentioned on many threads. It's the normal non carrier way of displaying signal info.
I had just answered this on a previous post. So please don't bump your question as myself and others try to answer as many questions as we can and to come on just to see a bump displeases me and I'm sure it does others as well. Thanks:thumbup:

Can you flash another kernel on this rom and overclock it. It seems the one included with the rom is not overclockable.

Yes, I have this "problem" also, however I did not list it simply because if I connect as camera it gives me all the same functionality I would use otherwise which makes this pretty hard to think of as a debilitating flaw. In reality all you have to do is pull down your notification bar and click the button that says "connect as camera" and everything works perfectly again. I didn't even have to read to figure this out. Just a little basic playing/investigating on my part yielded the answer. I would say this is a very forgivable and extremely minor inconvenience in light of all the many other perks this Rom supplies.
I think some, probably not all, but some of peoples problems come from skipping steps or dirty flashing. A clean wipe and fresh install is a bit of a pain, but I would rather take a few extra minutes to set up my phone on a clean working rom than spend "x" amount of hours trying to figure out problems on an incorrectly or hastily installed rom.
When the Op and everyone here keep repeating the mantra, "read, read, and read some more" I can speak from experience that the benefits are two fold in that:
1) you will probably find the answer to the question you were going to ask anyway and;
2) you almost definately find answers to questions that didn't even know you had to ask yet making situations you run into in the future less likely to be handled incorrectly because you will already know what to do.
I'm not saying that you haven't read or that you are installing the rom incorrectly. This isn't really pointed at you personally, I'm just using the opportunity of your question to make these observations in general for everyone.
I know what you mean... I hate not being able to fix permissions. .. when it fails it says its because of the factory reset... only time it ever happens for me... 8)

NEW BASE FULL WIPE!
-Download ROM & AddOns
-Backup your apps with preferred method(app2zip is great)
-Nandroid
-Wipe data ( factory data reset)
-Wipe system (Format system (in mounts/storage) if on CWM)
-Flash ROM
-Aroma will guide you through your installation (If installer freezes for any reason, oull battery and start over)
-Boot system and DO NOT TOUCH FOR 10 MIN
-After the 10 min, reboot phone and enjoy the Force

Thanks to my friends in the council, most of you are aware that things are extremely hectic at this point for me, rendering it almost impossible to continue this work at this time...
BUT...
I am also aware that there are thousands of you who literally rely on my work as your only ROM/Kernel and I feel that I need to honor that loyalty and do my best to continue. With this all in mind, I am and will be working my hardest to update as often as possible but this will mean alot of completely sleepless nights, etc and every bit of support will always be appreciated.
I will not be able to answer many questions at all or even drop in very often but will whenever the possibility arises... I hope you all can understand and help eachother as much as possible as the council strives to do daily
