... i dont know why some people have to protect the developers like they are the last example of their breed and a disease vaporized their tung... I don't either understand the usual aggressivity of farukb, I know and understand everything about policy of Cyanogenmod and XDA dev. as a multi device Android owner for very long time, and I keep these informations always at front of my eyes (as I'm totally agree with it!), but the style how farukb can protect zeubea and throw away some people just as 'I'm the God' is very unnatural and incorrect. There are moderators in any forum to ignore incorrect comments, but the way that some times some users make themself as God is simply ridiculous.
Sorry to wrote it, but this is true and sad.
Anyway thanks for zeubea for the hard work. This project is really fantastic!

i'm here since 2007 and was in about 10 different forums, and i've seen everything...even devs giving up their work because they get fed up with all the morons asking and putting pressure, even devs politely and explicitly asked them not to....simple as that....i'm not being rude or aggressive, i'm just slightly reacting because you don't respect zeubea at all, and because you don't read... and if you did you'd know it is told not to ask for etas...why?...because it's not right...why?...think about it for a moment and you might just find out ...so what's the damn problem...and who has it...me or you?
of course zeubea can stand for himself and tell you not to do it and why not to do it...but this way at leas some of us show him that we do respect him (and his work) and that he has all our gratitude...not just some false "thank you" button click.
just think about it...

I've come across a really neat find which I thought I'd share with you all. Fellow member febycv has come up with a way to get Google Now installed on phones running ICS. For those of you that don't know, Google Now is pretty much like Android's answer to Siri, and comes with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. You can find all the instructions and everything you need here. I've installed it and it works great (Edit: This started to give me network errors. The one here is working way better). The only drawback is voice search is currently not working. Please understand this before complaining. Screenshot showing it in action is in the attachments.

The only one who is putting pressure on this thread now is you. I understand we should obey xda rules but as you can see people are still asking. For my opinion people who are part of the community can ask stuff that all the people want to know and respect the fact that one same question is enough. We are not a millitary organization, all the joy is somehow sucked out. Just ignore it if someone asks and do not put pressure on people, if you want to direct them in the right way otherwise say nothing.

If you look at some of the other device threads, they can be HIGHLY moderated due to unnecessary stuff, legend threads are given a large degree of latitude, please don't spoil our legend community, at the end of the day we need to work together and help each other rather than fighting.
As a last thing, when a dev has something to share don't worry you won't miss out :thumbup:

Yes I have had them a few times too, I think it might be caused by memory flush or refresh of the GUI, oh heres a good question regarding that, which gpu memory kernel you using? Default (300kb) or one of the larger ones?
If you've used a heavy graphics app it could have as I said flushed the system memory, graphics cache (assuming its really that) system cache even..

To me it often append after a reboot. Or when i unlock my screen. My graphic memory is 300k, i haven't changed it since beta3. And i don't remind if i was experiencing it with the modified kernel.

Guys, I am busy with another stuff, BETA4 will be released as soon as possible, but I cannot commit a date for it, it can be next weekend or mids july or later.
Again, the issues I have experimented are the ones showed in OP. If you experiment an new issue you must provide detailed and relevant info. It not, it will be not usefull and not considered as such one. Detalied info should include:
* hboot version,
* partion sizes,
* Network type selected : WCDMA preferred, GSM only
* wifi, 3g/2g, wifi suspend policy => only applicable use wifi always
* cpu governor , max min cpu freqs
* app 2 sdcard used and which scripts are applied, => preferred noone sdcard app installed for testing for now
* if fresh install is made up, => preferred fresh install with all wipes for testing
* the list of apps involved in issue,
* the list of apps installed,
* which third part daemons and bakcgroud process are running,
* a logcat will be very useful too
About eta's, I posted a date for beta4 so "mea culpa" in this case. No more discussion is necessary about this.

Hi all,
Just testing beta3, works pretty well, only a couple of problems I've found so far:
- wifi tether doesn't work (stuck at "activating wifi")
- I also get occasional reboots
Also Skype doesn't work, but I blame that on the app.

How bloody good is it to have ICS on the Legend?
It's awesome. Huge thanks to zeubea, I was going to upgrade my phone early to a SGS3, but waiting for the new devices to come out soon in the next few months. Fingers cross something that looks better than the SGS3 huh?
just got my new galaxy nexus and found that zeubea's rom is much smoother than stock 4.0.4 on it's big brother. Superb!
still loving my Legend an will continue updating it as long as it will be supported..

35Hi, I am very busy this weeks and at the moment i can not work in camcoder. It implies debbuging android libstagefright and possibly OpenMax video decoder, because it has got an not informed error when camera records video. I also merged last video related commits of cyanogenmod (thanks to homi3kh for notice me) but it is not enough for doing it working.
The state of camera in other msm7227 devices is equal to Legend, indeed Legend was first msm7227 device having preview, and other devs contact with me about it. If it was for help for fix it, great! About armv7 archs, Desire S and Desire has got camcorder but Nexus One does not. SGS2 and Nexus have got, obviously.
I have planned a to-do list, including:
- Camcorder,
- Pending fixes "fixed" (Limit data usage, boot animation size, gb AGPS fix, voice search, wifi/VPN realed settings, etc..),
- Inverted Apps,
- OJ Wake up (fixed in my local repo)
This future update will be release in base to when is camcorder fixed, because I intend they are not so important as camcorder.
On the other hand, it is a very good news that CM9 Legend Beta0 has got beyond 2,000 downloads, incredible!, it is also thanks to you, and 7 donations (not bad); thanks very much, your contribs are very appreciated!!).
Well, I will stay off during next two weeks and then I will work at camcorder and I will release an update with minor fixes.

- Initial Release: very unstable, not working: sdcard and more stuff. Wifi module provokes reboots.
CM9.1 is very stable for now. Cryptomilk kernel is more mature and tested.
CM10 is higly buggy, with stuff not working, but it seems more responsive than ICS. It is just a first Jellybean build.24Well, good news, finally camera preview worked. However video recording apparently must would be working, but parameters are not setting properly in camera driver by camera HAL module.
Because camera is working partially, I think now is a a good time for starting beta series. I know this camera module is not fully stable and I don´t know when video will be fixed o if this module will be fully stable, but I think we are at a similar level as other CM9 devices.
