Hello,

I recently rooted my Android phone and so I was able to add system apps (-> move a normal apk to the system space).
The reason I did this, was because of an Anti Theft app, now it can't be removed (unless with titanium backup etc.)
My question is,
Will my anti-theft app survive a hard reset to manufacturers defaults now, and will it still have the correct data for me to trace my phone?
I am using a Huawei G700 + Cerberus Anti Theft

Thanks,
Jelle

Dude system apps are those which cant be accessed without root access. most of these are system apps, pre-installed apps, and your os.
they are not deleted by any means until you clear your system or sometimes flashing a new rom.

so dont worry while factory reset, you won't lose it.

Yes after hardreset your anti-theft will be there on your device as the app is converted into system app.
