Yes you can change your country to UAE, the stock rom you have updated to is it for your country or for others? You can even try and flash other uae or arab country rom, it wont make any difference, the only difference is the csc :)

i have download a .tar file and updated using odin , there were no CSC or rom included

That is the rom, csc is inside the rom, e.g a france rom will have the csc change to france. A rom is like a firmware, so that file is the rom :) So in this case, what country firmware have you flashed onto your device?

it was a tar file about 1GB size

(N7105XXDLL1_N7105TMHDLK8_TMH.zip, 987.4MB)

Oh, just another comment. When I rooted my phone, I used the cwm method instead of cf.

i purchased a note 2 .. from my friend it was international version .. i dun remember which country .i dun have the box so i cant say which country .. i feel it can be dubai or united arab emirates. it was working fine on stock rom .. it was i suppose 4.0.4 i flashed it with omega v8 through cwm recovery . after that fone started but i get error msg emergency calls only.no simcard and if i trymaking a call it says simcard not registered on network plz help . i m from india . i after that installed many custom roms and many stock roms from diffirent countries but network not coming same error . how to get it working .. write solution or email on devaunsh.parikh@gmail.com cc: aryan_vaid_model@yahoo.com

I'm looking to get a leather wallet flip case for my N7105. I've found a few I like on Ebay but they all advertise that they are specifically for the N7100. Are there any physical differences between the two ? Will the case work just as well with my N7105 ?

Is the phone sim locked? If not, have you tried replacing the sim with a new one or try put it into other phone and see if it works?, the sim itself might be broken :(

There are no physical differece between n7100 and n7105 :)

Kernel n ROM

Newbie to android, wish to ask gurus here about kernel and rom. i just knew that we can actually install custom kernel and ROM, after some reading, just found few which is quite popular,
Kernel - Perseus , RedPill
ROM - Omega, Revolution HD

Can i know what is the different for the both? they looks similar. which one you recommended?
My main concern is the speed and battery life.

All the them are good, i personally have tried all of those roms and kernel before, i really cant recommend it to you. You need to try it by yourself, do a nandroid backup before flashing, there's nothing to lose. :) all of them will give a better performance than stock :D

I need more memory in my device, how can I move my apps and games to the SD Card? How can I use my SD Card like internal memory?

I'm root.

Note 2 does not support app2sd, but you can download mod/rom/kernel that will make it possible. Try install redpill kernel and you will be able to mount your external sdcard as you internal sdcard :)

    I am not a full time developer! So do not request any roms or apps from me. I only make roms for my self and friends. :)

    This thread is created to help members [noobs] to understand more about android and the device itself.

    I decided to create this thread because the developers already have enough work to do, they wont be able to answer all questions from members [noobs]. :)
    I only owns the N7100 (galaxy note international model), but i will try by best to answer all of your questions using my experiences :) .

    Just try restarting your phone...

    I had faced the same problem once and rebooting it solved that...

    What you're experiencing seems to be a sleep of death, where the phone, after entering deep sleep, fails to wakes up even when there's user input (i.e. pressing buttons). This usually occurs if one underclocks one's phone too much. Try installing Trickstermod, under Specific there's a Touch Wake option.

    Personally I haven't encountered this problem, but I read about it in the AGNi kernel 4.4.2 purestock thread, which I have installed.

    If you are on 4.4, the method you tried might not work.

    Method given below works for 4.4 and 4.3. Not sure about 4.1.2

    Anyways, flash Philz recovery latest via ODIN.

    Here is the Link: https://goo.im/devs/philz_touch/CWM_Advanced_Edition/n7100/philz_touch_6.26.6-n7100.tar.md5/

    Wait for green pass.

    Now download SuperSu flashable zip

    http://download.chainfire.eu/452/SuperSU/UPDATE-SuperSU-v2.02.zip

    Store the file on phone int.sd / ext.sd

    Enter recovery using key combination.

    Once inside Philz, choose "install as zip" , select the supersu zip and flash.

    Reboot the device.

    Open play store and update supersu if required.

    Don't forget to press thumbs up if u found my suggestions helpful.

    Unfortunately that method and flashing the knox reset zip is JUST for the note 3. Not any any other device.

    Well here you go...

    How to Reset knox on Note 3 Exynos.

    I dont need google for this,fortunately XDA gave me a search option :)
