I just tried flashing with twrp and also had it fail, I am going to check exact version of twrp now, but it's the one in this forum.

Ok I'm on twrp 2.7.0.5 and I had it fail when trying to flash with that version.

I also had it fail with twrp 2.7.0.7 on a full wipe, but I immediately booted back to recovery, flashed again without wiping this time and was successful.

They need to update the update-binary script, it was explained to me this is like the chopped up version used on the EVOLTE and just needs updated, I believe Captain_Throwback was planning on updating his, because alot of people having this issue

Yea I'm fine with it, it works. That's really all I was trying to get out there was a second flash worked if others wanted to start trying that.

Lol, yep! Also when it reboots and hangs on the HTC screen, its not power button that reboots but holding vol-down then it should boot back to bootloader if you continue to hold!
