A noobish question - plz help

I am not so pro in this so asking.

Using Hellfire ROM ICS 4.0.4, bu some apps like "Tubemate" is not working for the default CPU speed.

Can some 1 plz tell me how to manually change the Minimum & Maximum CPU speed. Because in developer Settings > Performance > Processor (only showing the current speed) options are darkened & I can't click and manage them as my own.

Other then this the ROM is a Beast as well the Best as per me :good:

Alot of this has to do with your kernel. If your kernel doesnt support OC/UV thosee values will be greyed out or unselectable. You can find all the different kernels here. http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=1924031 just make sure you use a kernel that will work for ICS, if your using this rom.

Try a cpu app from play store like setcpu or another like it. I use setcpu. It's paid on the play sore or search it up on xda and it's free to members..

Has this rom been updated since 12-20-12 I dont think it has been but I want something a little more stable. Recently It just totally reinstalled everything by itself I left to go to the rest room came back it was resetting itself but taking forever so i pulled out the battery next thing i know it was like a fresh install of hellfire.... that was uber lame had to redownload and install all kinds of stuff.

I am not so good in this so asking "What will be the best kernel you suggest for the Hellfire ICS ROM 4.0.4 ?" In which I can over clock CPU & the ROM will be remain the same smooth just like the default Hellfire is.

Please tell me the link with the name of the kernel, I am not so good android file developer file names.


Plz need urgent Help...

Good work

Hi there it seems to be a very smooth rom so far, my only problem is that after the update my windows machine doesn't recognize the usb device to do the usd tether, any sugestions?, thanks, and keep up with the good work :)

Hi guys! Quick question - a friend of mine bought g2x with HellFire Sandwich already installed on it (so it's obviously rooted and has recovery) but he wants to try cm7 - besides full wipe before flash, does he have to do anything else? I'm asking because on o2x that I own it's impossible to revert back to 2.3 without changing bootloader etc

Nope. Just follow install steps on guide in general section and make sure he has GB gapps. Let me know if he has an issue.

I have a problem, when surfing the web the browser auto closes (or minimize) when auto rotation happens. How to fix this problem?

I have another problem with this ROM, the phone seems not to have auto-dim feature? even though I tried to enable in custom setting. Basically, it is on full brightness till shut-off . Any fix? Thanks

PS: Also, is there a way to replace ICS stock browser with the new JB one? the new one runs faster in sunspider in other device I test.

awesome rom, everything works well though im having an issue with my 3g/mobile internet. im from the philippines and i have th proper apn settings though it doesnt seem to connect. thanks!

So happy to be on this ROM

I just came from cm 7.2 and I had a TERRIBLE battery issue, it was such a bad drain that I stopped using my phone for a couple weeks. Battery would only last for about 4 hours. I was on Faux's kernel 54 and I tried everything I could do to underclock it and play with the values because the phone would get HOT AS ****. Now on this rom after I wiped everything 2x its back to normal. Im so happy.

Do you guys think it was the kernel?
