So the 7/12 nightly didn't work for me. Upon a clean flash, I got system ui has crashed over and over again. Is there a better nightly available like a previous one you guys recommend?

Sounds like a bad download. Try a re-download and see if it works then.

I think if the phone is in deep sleep the volume up thing will not wake it up. There is currently no kernels with s2w for the 3.4 kernel ROMs. I'm sure Jac0b will get his sorted out and I'm sure Rohan will have one soon as well.

7/13 is out. Anyone try it?

I'm on 7/14 and you should probably stay away from it because I've been getting constant lag which only goes away for a while after a reboot. I'm not sure if others are having the same problem but this is just from my personal experience. I skipped 7/13 btw but if you haven't updated in a while then you should def try out 7/12.

Wah...WHAT? You formatted your SD card? Maybe I'm missing something, but aren't you know going to be missing all of the important Android folders?
All of the important folders & files are stored within the phone's internal memory. It's completely safe to format the external memory/SD card.

I also kept getting the problem but on the 7/14 nightly. I was changing the size of the navigational buttons and the system ui just crashed but I got it working after re-flashing the nightly.

How is the newest nightly (7-15)? I am on 7-07 as that one seemed the most stable to me even though I am still experiencing bugs with the rom. Such as my ringer not wanting to go off when I receive a call and the phone wanting to lock up when I turn the screen off.

Works awesomely good for me! Both the ringer and locking of the screen work well. Is there anything else you would like me to check out for you?

Is OTG working or does it have to be enabled somewhere? I'm not sure if it's my cable that isn't working. The uXylon rom supports OTG (can't download it to try it out) so I was just wondering.

Nope but just as a heads up for you or anyone reading this...you can disable the random colors via Settings>System>Quick Settings>Quick Settings Style>QS Random Colors.

in the latest nightly I've been getting a random system UI crash. I'll try to catch a logcat but Its sporadic as hell

Revert to a previous build and try the next one. With nightlies things can vary greatly from day to day. I always held on to a good build and if the latest nightly wasn't up to par just flash back.

    Re: [ROM][4.2.1]PACman Ver 19.9[LOTK][2-9-13]

jamieg71, have you thought about doing a refresh on this? atleast to kick out the bugs to make it a good daily driver?

Sure man, I just updated the jewel to PAC version 22.0.1 android 4.2.2. I wasn't sure if the demand was here for it. I haven't had many downloads on the Evita. But I'll get you guys a build this week no problem. PAC has come a long way since version 19 you guys will enjoy it.

Any word on updates to fix the random reboots? I've had more random reboots since I installed this rom last night than I did in the two months I used the previous version? I assume it's related to the updated 3.4 kernel but I am unsure. I am using 7/1 nightly.

I am also having connection problems. After each reboot I have to toggle the data off and then back on again. These problems are almost making this rom not a daily driver anymore but more of a WIP. If I had older version of this rom still I would switch back but I do not.

Check my dev-host under pac/evita... You may have to do some digging but all my previous builds for this device are still there. I certainly would not consider PACman rom a WIP it's pretty spot on at this point. Occasionally with major new features or changes there will be hiccups. But they always get resolved in a timely fashion. For this device as well as the jewel, the current hiccup is kernel related and all device/kernel specific source is pulled from CM.

    If you guys track Github/CyanogenMod/android_kernel_htc_msm8960
    revision cm-10.1
And look for new commits reverting to 3.4.10 or a commit from Kushdeck that should mean the low-memory reboots have been resolved, also MHL, GPS fix ups and some audio things it looks like.
Once the fixes have been committed, PAC Nightlies will reflect the changes in that nights build.

Hey guys sorry for the long hiatus. I started a new job and have very limited time for development. I do plan to update PAC to the latest either this or next weekend. After that, I most likely will no longer be developing publicly at all. Hopefully someone steps up and takes over as your maintainer.
If anyone is interested in doing so, hit me up by pm and I'll get with the PAC team and get you set up as the official maintainer, as well as lend a hand if needed.
Just so you know, I appreciate the heck out of all the kind words and positive feedback I have received here on the One X. You guys are great.
