Cm13 latest nightly works! In the nightly of the 20th they changed something with busybox/toybox and now this great file manager works with root again! :laugh:
Can anyone confirm? This is great news now the last piece is confirmed working and I can finally switch to mm as well [emoji4]

Problem with External Storage

I'm on CM13 19/12 nightly build for zenfone 2 ze551ml (Z00A) and i've recently installed MiXplorer. The only problem i've got is that it doesn't detect external sd card.
I think the problem is that it doesn't prompt the DocumentsProvider window (see screenshot) to select the root of the sd card.

If you read the last couple of posts you might notice that there was an update on 20th to the cm sources that might have fixed your issues.Hi

It was only in the past few nightlys that CM13 got its own native file manager to be able to access root but then it lost access to external SD. It makes sense that other file managers like MiXplorer would experience the similar issues, but these may be resolved soon. As stated by the primary developer of my Moto E Otus CM ROM a few days ago, "CM File Manager is still undergoing heavy development with the transition from busybox to toybox. They'll probably have it all fixed by the end of next week." http://xdaforums.com/showpost.php?p=64381071&postcount=193. We'll see if the changes that get CM file manger working also help with MiXplorer.

Edit : I've installed the last update of CM13, the 22/12 nightly build, and the problem with the SD Card and MiXplorer still persists. I think it lacks a feature like "add an external storage" which would use Documents Provider to add an SD Card.

Hi，this app is a great app, i like it so much. but I meet two issue on Android set-top-box.
1. while connect via wired network, ftp/http server startup error.

Using huawei phone lollipop 5.1.1 cant customise the theme and when clicking on it nothing pops up? Unzipping multiple files will crash the app as well
As several people have mentioned: it seems that the skins feature is no longer working. This is most likely due to a change in CM based ROMs. I'm noticing the same issue in recent CM12.1 builds (although I dont know when the issue started) and a few others have reported it from CM12.1 as well. Be advise though, that development of MiXplorer is in a lull at the moment. You can read through the recent pages of the thread about that. If you want to make your reports of the issue more helpful (for when and if dev picks up again) you can post logs. If you do that maybe other people can find a workaround. come to. I would do so now but am presently testing CM13.
Just wanna confirm that it works fine with CM13 for me on Ace2 device. I can't really be sure if it's the 22/12 nightlies yet, but the ROM was compiled at 23/12, and it works great, at least for basic operations that I've tried.
Thanks. I did read many pages, and I figured it was in there somewhere, but 1,100 is a lot to go through. Anyway, lots of good stuff to choose from as-is, so no complaints here.

You should not download from APKMirror at all, honestly. The developer makes very clear what the sanctioned, safe sources are : MiXplorer site, developer's Google Drive, XDA, Play Store.5

They're not there because, well, you're not supposed to downgrade either. Which is a whole other conversation, and I realize this does not solve your problem.

Speaking of APKAnd here's an interesting fact I just discovered. The files are uploaded by individuals, which is why you'll often times see multiple versions. If you've ever glanced at the uploader names, one you've probably seen is HoldTheDoor. Well, I got curious because 1.13 had the same files all uploaded twice; one set of the files were uploaded by HoldTheDoor, and the other set were uploaded by another user. The same was true of version 1.15 too. I decided to check the MD5 of version 1.15 against the uploaded copies, and I discovered that the HoldTheDoor MD5 did NOT match, while the other one did.
I'm not why there's a difference... maybe the HoldTheDoor uploads are the Google Play version? I'm not sure why that one would have a different MD5, but maybe that's what I'm seeing. Either way,, I'm going to avoid the HoldTheDoor uploads where I can unless I'm able to determine why there was the difference in the MD5.
Anyway, I downloaded and installed version 1.13, then tried again. When I did, the export worked properly. Thanks! -

Google severely restricts access to files, MIX's image viewer can handle viewing files better because it has permissions to handle all files. Use a gallery application that you can give permissions to handle all files to, for instance this one, open-source, with no trackers or malvertising :
