are you having visionary run on boot still?Thats the thing, I've rebooted at least 5 times now. It worked great until I did the OTA. Now Visionary is showing a false root. (It says the device is rooted but I can't su or anything)

Quick question as well, I've read in the thread but it still hasn't been clear to me atleast,
I used paul's app to remove Goggles, should I reinstall the stock rom.zip and then update and then use this, or should I just go pre-ota with goggle removed and turn S-Off.

Yea reinstall stock, then ota then hboot root. Then remove stock apps with rm /system/app/whatever.apk

I second that. Despite having root I'm unable to mess with the system files. Why?

Alright, so I just bought a G2 offline. I have no idea if this phone is rooted or if I need to root it. It did not have Superuser when I started it up. But, when I went to the bootloader, it looked exactly like the picture in the 1st post. It says ENG S-OFF & all that. It even has Clockwork Mod as a recovery. Now by the looks of it on here, that S-OFF os something that happens when you root it or when you're done rooting. So my question is, does anybody know if I'm already rooted?
I also have no idea if it got an OTA or not.
