From what i've read mugen are very credible for extended batteries, as are momax. Momax make a 1800mAH (to my best memory) which is the same size as the normal, or the 2700mAH battery which is a little thicker, but apparently gives a very good battery life

So is it ok to use such battery (2700mAH) with our device? I was always afraid of that for some reason:eek:

im using stock 1500mah samsung battery and im happy with the battery life, im running cm10 and using conservative governor.
i just got the phone 3 weeks ago so not had much play time with it.

since i now understand more about the phone im sure my battery will last longer since im playing to the strengths of the device. such as using a black background since amoled screen shuts off the pixels if they are pure black, thats halping to save the power.

also i have my extended battery comming in few weeks time. ordered samsung epic touch 4g battery which is 1800mah, so hopefully will make battery life even more better.

I bought an extended (read thicker) unlabeled chinese battery with back cover. It says 3500 mAh. I'm primarily using it for traveling, since the phone then lasts easily two days with constant use of gps and data. I'm really impressed by it.

ok when i put the new battery into the phone its charge was at 66% already, i charged it to maximum, then let it run till it got to got to 1% battery life then took screenshots, phone shut itself down about 10 mins after.

i got 7 hours 2 mins screen on time, was playing films in bs player with 60% brightness but it was getting late at night and i needed to go sleep so cranked up the last hour or so to 100% brightness to drain it quicker.

will post the screen shots when i get back home later today.

iv been told to keep doing 100% charges and letting it get to 0% for the first few cycles. dunno but will see how it goes.
