Root successful in Acer A1-830

---English (translated) / Inglés (traducido)---
First of all hello and thank social-design concepts to achieve a genuine and effective tool to make my Acer A1-830 Root. Then I tell my story (I hope not dwell too).
When I had Android 4.2.2 (AV052_A1-830_1.014.00_WW_GEN1) I utilize this tool to the Root, which smoothly and all the steps was effective. After a time out the upgrade to Kit Kat logically wanted to install after downloading the update OTA the computer restarted and started the installation process resulting in an error with the core (core.odex), foolishly started the terminal normally and I deleted that file, and what happened had to happen, he made brick. Desperately I looked everywhere for the Stock Rom 4.2.2 and found it here, I managed to install over using ADB, FastBoot and DroidBoot device menu.
Then I un updating OTA to 4.4.2 Rom Kit Kat (AV0K0_A1-830_1.006.00_WW_GEN1) and after several days Root, found here at the method "SDC_INTEL2_ROOTKIT" which worked perfectly to the point that I could upgrade by OTA the "AV0K0_A1-830_1.007.00_WW_GEN1" version, go surprise Root is no longer effective, but I realized the process of Root (with SDC_INTEL2_ROOTKIT) again and it worked.

Conclusion: It is proven (by me) that the SDC_INTEL2_ROOTKIT, allows to Root Acer Iconia A1-830 smoothly with Kit Kat versions 4.4.2 Compiling whose number is both "AV0K0_A1-830_1.006.00_WW_GEN1" as "AV0K0_A1 -830_1.007.00_WW_GEN1 "without losing the OTA updates.

P.D.: I want to congratulate social-design-concepts and those who have helped make this valuable work for our tablets.
P.D. 2: Sorry for the english I use but I'm from Chile.

---Español / Spanish---
Primero que todo saludar y agradecer a social-design-concepts por lograr una verdadera y efectiva herramineta para hacerle Root a mi Acer A1-830. A continuación cuento mi historia (espero no explayarme demasiado).

Upload it to any cloud storage service ex Google drive
Then go back to system update and update device
After update, root device using my kit batch in the op

Sent from my Venue 8 3830 using XDA Free mobile app

Hmm, I still see no relationship between the uploading and the rooting. Why don't we update at the first time the update is downloaded but have to wait for the second time? We just upload the update to the cloud and leave it there, is it necessary step in order to have the tablet rooted?

vihali this is not part of the rooting process but what happens is that all of us including you, as we have the same equipment can damage a day tablet, and that file all including you if one day you need can save it, so you to help people like you were helped to enrraízar your tablet, ok? We appreciate your collaboration, when possible share with us the link of the file. Thank you.

While i do need this file in order to validate that the dumps i have for this device , more than likely if it follows most intel device ota updates it is in the form of an incremental patch ota so if you modify the contents of /system ( example : removed files ) the update would fail anyways so useless for fixing a messed up system but it might contain a couple of needed files so they are worth capturing . . .

@vihali @vampir74 @p3DRu

is there a device thread for this tablet? we need to keep this thread more about the rooting process and issues using myKIT_BATCH so if a thread exist for that tablet already please send me a link so i can follow and start post device specific issues there . . .

Venue 7 3730 No Modem System Backup

I have 2 Venue 7. On both devices I have root at 4.3 v1.25. One device has xposed framework and a bunch of apk's and various settings. I want to be able to back that up and push it down to the other Venue. I am not sure if I only need the system, and/or cache? As there is no CWM or TWRP, I am not sure how to do it. I have been researching doing a dump of some sort, but can't use RomDump as it is not mtd file system. Can anyone help me out or point me in the right direction?

Thanks,

Tom

vihali when powers provides the link to the file you have saved, thank you!
I did factory reset and was able to download the update but I could not locate the file. It should be in /cache as usual but it's empty. Probably it needs root permission to show it? And to root I need to update to KitKat and the update will be deleted very soon.[emoji23] [emoji23] [emoji23]

    @GeeKerGurL @Shreps

Still Have to make the new thread but here is the windows standalone cwm launcher

Intel Fastboot Tethered Recovery Launcher IntelAndroid-FBRL.7z
fixed backup / restore from internal sdcard
    fixed restoring /system partition

adb sideload of update.zip is still broken

if you want to try this on jellybean you'll need to update the recovery.fstab in the recovery.zip for your devices

support fastboot oem triggers are :
T1 oem startftm ( very few devices support this command , but its the original used so )
T2 oem backup_factory ( limited devices support this command )
T3 oem stop_partitioning ( should work on alot of kitkat builds )

i'm not including any device drivers so you'll have to make sure you install them your self new thread coming soon. . . .

make sure you download UPDATE-SuperSU-vX.Xx.zip and place it on your internal or external_sd the install it through the install zip /option in CWM

This doesn't install a permanent copy of CWM Recovery on your device this is a temporary CWM Recovery Session it has to be launched from a pc ( thethered ) each time you need to access the CWM Recovery.

@vampirefo the new recovery binary you sent wasnt mounting external_sd ? the old one is mounting it fine now but would be nice to have the heading changed. . .
