Just an update on battery.

When on stock originally battery lasted a good few days with medium to low use.
After upgrading to the ROM, which worked perfectly and made the device so much better, I was lucky to get a day with minimal use.
Now after going back to stock on the 26th at midday my phone has only just gone off. 4 days, admittedly minimal use.

Want this ROM but with stock battery life.

It will add some extra time to things, but should you encounter problems youi wil have a tested working back up to go back to should everything go wrong - these emergency back ups have got me out of difficulty several times..
Also when updating a rom/nightly make a back up and save it else where - you dont need loads of back ups delte the older custom rom ones every now and agian- just keep your old stock one as a just in case.
At the moment i am runnig CM9 20120708-NIGHTLY-jordan
and i have a back up of the CM72-20120601-NIGHTLY-Defy as well as the old motorola stock froyo ready to go should i need them again.

hi i am using mb525 green lance defy with android 2.2.2 official version [Moto_version.34.3601.1.MB525.Retail.en.SEA15]
my defy is rooted and already instelled latest 2ndinit defy and cwm recovery. i have nandroid backup of my current system.

now, if i want to go back to my original stock rom after installing cm9 can i restore my nandroid backup directly or i have to flash 2.2.2? if i have to flash it first where can i get it?

thx in advance for your help

Battery drain will have to be monitored. Gotten the razr maxx. so the defy just stays for backup emergency.
