Kevin u know your stuff thanks ...had bricked my EVO view trying to do the.hc upgrade ...was freezing at the white HTC screen ..even went to sprint and the said it wasn't fixable was gonna have to send it to HTC ..def no warranty ..this worked great even got full hc upgrade ...he even did the process for me via remote desktop ...thanks a ton and keep up the great work
sir, since v2.0 is very2 huge file, i offering you direct link.. you can paste it to internet download manager and it support resume...

I do know direct download work from multiupload but hey which ever one is fastest for the community.
and to answer your question
yes
version 2.0 has every file needed HC rom, GB rom, SU, Recovery, Abd, Fastboot. It is because of the HC and GB roms this file is so huge.
all you need is revolutionary but I have not asked for permission to copy that yet.

its actually a very valid question. But no this will not work with the flyer. It is similar but different in certain ways. The instructions are up for the flyer in the flyer forum. Im not entirely sure if I will make a auto tool for the flyer. Depends on how much time I have
I'm still very new to rooting, so please forgive me if I'm a little confused. My View was updated OTA to HC and is not rooted, but that is what I want to have. I haven't done the official HTC unlock.
From what I'm reading the latest update is v2.1, but I still need to download the v2.0 files?
Here's where I'm a little confused:
In the instructions the prerequisite shows that I need revolutionary s-off to remove htc's hboot and to also have HTC unlock?
Do I need to downgrade to GB with the new procedure to root/unlock, s-off, and then do an OTA update to HC or I need a rom of HC to upgrade back with s-off and root?

Yes its pretty simple. Download 2.0 and 2.1. Extract to the same folder.
Run v2.1 bat file. Choose option 6. This will bring you to GB. Then run revolutionary. After S-OFF run option 4 to go back to HC

kevin,use your v2.1,the view should in which mode?fastboot or just power on and connect the usb to PC?
the program will walk you through it. When you choose your option eventually it will say (just an example) go to fastboot and how to do it.

I could be mistaken, but it seems there is a typo where "adb push msc_version /data/local" should be "adb push misc_version /data/local".
Also, the process (6) fails with
"Finding misc partition
misc partition found: /dev/block/mmcblk0p29!
Backing up misc partition to /data/local/miscBackup-1325967562.bin and determing
version length...
Error: VERSION must be a 10 character string. Length of specified string: 9"

Hello everybody!
I'd just like to let you all know that my experience with XDA has been wonderful and I find this place very informative and enlightening. One of the biggest problems and inconveniences was trying to find and round up all information and files needed to get something done.
So I present you with a MULTI-PURPOSE TOOL for the EVO VIEW 4G. It combines all necessary files into one location for your convenience.
I got the idea yesterday after literally spending the whole day with globatron trying to figure out what was wrong with my device (had a hardware problem) and got a little tired of having to return to stock about 13 times lol.

For everyone else that’s considering using this tool. This is a great piece of work that significantly simplifies the required steps to accomplish the described goals. Using this tool does not add any more risk to doing these actions as following the steps themselves (actually reduces risk by ensuring important steps are not missed.)
Most importantly Kevin (tool developer) is very responsive, VERY helpful and dedicated to ensuring the quality of his tool.
