Thanks for the rom, looking pretty good so far.

Generally seems to work ok, very laggy so far though, but only just got back home so not reset it at all so far, maybe it will improve after a few resets, cm7 used to have good and bad days (mind you stock did as well).
A lot of (app name), is not responding would you like to wait or stop.

Apart from that the rom itself seems to be fine, the apps are not great so far though, missing a lot of features i was used to in cm7. Like phone book having dialer, call log, contacts and favorites. I can get the all but have to use two apps to do it.

Can't set home button to bring up app list, also when on app list can only scroll sideways.

Notifications take a while to use ringtone, the vibration happens well in advance of the ringtone, not sure how quickly the call tone cuts in though yet.

Also keep putting 'Clock' app in bottom right of screen and it disappears.

Battery life seems reduced so far, but again will have to keep track of it, mine has never been good at the best of times even if data etc is off. 9 hrs 29 mins, light use and 14% overclocked to 651?

Also a request if it is possible, the stock android wallpaper settings don't ever let you use a picture from your phone without cropping. Can this be included in a rom without having a seperate app? I used to use a live wallpaper one to do this but it did slow it down compared to a cm7 standard wallpaper.

Thanks again though, i know this is early days for the rom so no complaints

Considering the time frame of MiniCM9 releases, I got this feeling that our poor Mimmi will have MiniCM9 treatment in early June. I hope I'm wrong though. :(

wow... ICS on my mini :). who would've thought? i didn't fully test it, but I noticed that with smartassV2 my cpu wouldn't go in deep sleep. interactiveX works like a charm and saves a lot of battery (lot's of deep sleep).

also a question: is there a way to set the main/home button (the hardware one in the middle) to open/close the drawer, not only go to homescreen? I don't like to use the "touch button".

691 ;)

is there an advantage using the zRAM? to me it seemed to slow down the phone for some reason. same goes for UV - it seemed to "stutter" my phone occasionally (might have been something else, but the phone seems very fluid with zRAM and UV disabled). also what is that KSM? is there any detailed information about it?

As always, your work is just top! this rom runs perfect for me ... i love it!!! Thank u so much for all your efforts on that!

One question could u probably add in future coming updates an option to select the notification/status bar font size cuz its a little small.I test the AOKP release from stelios before ur release and there were an option in the settings menu for that.for our small screens its a very good addon i think .... just one wish from me :=)

In my opinion it is a little bit faster and and smoother than the original one.

after trying ..... i agree with u.

Thanks for the response. The attached "SE ACTIVE LAUNCHER" with 4 active corners also works like a charm under ICS. And it's much more faster than integrated Trebuchet Launcher . But you have to go without some things. Like the integrated widget function of the ICS Launchers.

For the bug reporting: Sometimes i got the feeling that the tochscreen doesn't react immediately and you have to push two or three times.

But I also have to say positive things. The Play-Store is palpable faster than under MiniCM 7

nobodyAtall and all the other helpers do a great work on this rom!

Can you get into recovery (cwm)? if so you'l have to 1st try a factory wipe etc try to reboot again-if no luck restore your Nandroid (Hopefully you bright enough to of made one!!? ;) if not sorry but its back to pc companion flash to stock then reroot etc..and start again_Have you installed ics before this 1? and the kernel flash was definatley successful?

    MiniCM9 Visuals

    MiniCM9 Theme:

    MiniCM9 theme, is the valid successor for MiniCM6 and MiniCM7 legacy.
    It is designed as close as possible to the original specs of ICS, in order to be a lightweight, beautiful alternative to the stock theme. However it is tweaked in several parts of the UI, in order to fit better to our small device's screen.

    Screenshots:

    -themed/redesigned status bar icons (Bigger and sharper, especially on the LDPI res)

    Tips to make things faster

    * You want to overclock as much as you device can handle. ICS requires more juice to run.
    * Remove / Freeze system apps that you don't need, especially DSP Manager
    * Install only apps that you need, don't bloat your system
    * Consider using a swap partition / file if you got a fast sdcard. Swap will give more memory for the hungry ICS to consume
    * Using Zram (Compcache) and KSM is also suggested as they will give you a tad more RAM for your apps. Note that they might also reduce battery life since they require CPU cycles.
    * Trebuchet is beautiful but a bit on the laggy side yet. Consider installing another launcher from the market like Apex.

    Don't report bugs if you are using thirdparty tools that claim to be boosting the performance (Supercharger, RAM Manager, etc.)

    Components

    ### Built from sources
    * libaudio
    * libgralloc
    * hwcomposer
    * libsensors
    * liblight
    * fm Radio
    * camerahal
    * libcamera
    * bluetooth

    ### Done
    * HW Video encoder/decoder

    Performance
    MiniCM9 along with the nAa-ics kernel, includes some interesting performance improvement points:
    • System -> Performance -> Processor -> CPU governor and frequency --> SmartassV2 is suggested. Overclocking can be set as higher as your device can take
    • System -> Performance -> Processor -> Undervolting --> Enable this to get better battery life
    • System -> Performance -> Memory management -> zRam (Compcache) --> By default this is set to 18% in order to provide more physical memory (RAM)
    • System -> Performance -> Kernel samepage merging -> Enable this to get smaller memory footprint due to memory sharing among apps (Note that this might increase battery consumption)
