The same workaround for 4.3 Roms should work. Just put a .nomedia file in folders with rogue .mp4 files and gallery won't crash. Mp4s created with the ROM in use should be OK.

yes it can be as long as it is I717 model you are using.

I installed it on my tmo 879 note and noticed no messaging app so I went back to beanstalk BUT my dumb*ss installed full gapps ??? that's why I had no messaging but the rom runs solid great rom to use ??

Has anyone found a solution about the APN problem? (can't get the selection to stick, or even edit & save a new one) I'm loving this Kit Kat, but I gotta have some data.

hi
thanks for you great rom, i have been using it for 2-3 days and im having occasional reboot issues (hangs), like when i press the power button only the captivate buttons turn on, some times i have to press 2-3 time until it works but some other times the phone will reboot.
is this issue a common thing or i might have done something wrong.

Try a kernel with wheatly governor .that will usually wake the phone correctly ..if that's what your talking about

Your work is fantastic, Patch. Very very good work. The only issue I'm having is when I have the phone plugged in, the screen continually locks and unlocks. Not really a dealbreaker, seeing as I've found my new driver, but I would like pointers toward how to fix it.

If it helps, it only seems to do so when I have the battery icon set to circle or circle with percentage.

Oh god, its hard to read your post with those eyes peering straight into my soul.....lol
anyway, have you tried icon with percentage? Circle with percentage didnt really work for me as it just showed a full circle despite having 80%. Icon with percentage was fine with no screen issues.

One thing I notice is even with phone plugged it. It slowly discharges instead of charging ?

Ahahahaha thank you sir for a good laugh! Yes, I have tried icon with percentage. In fact that's what I have set right now! Working like a charm. Yeah, I had the same issue with the circle with percentage. It was showing a number but then the circle itself was randomly set. The circle also started changing sporadically upon plugging the phone in, and then just locks and unlocks then locks again. Sounds like we have the same issue!
