XLTE support?

I have searched all over the internet and Verizon has not released a list of older phones that support XLTE. They only confirm or deny the ones that they are current. Does this mean that our S3 can't support it?

The list was released. No XLTE for us S3 users. S4 & 5 get it.

From the article I read, the phones with XLTE support will use that bandwidth, thus freeing up the bandwidth that our phones (plus other non XLTE phones) use. Ideally it should increase your internet speeds (although not signal strength).

Thanks a bunch guys. I didn't think it would support it but I figured it was worth asking. I was surprised that no one else had asked about it.

does anyone know what this means for my mom with an S III on Verizon Wireless? will she see increased speeds (considering the speeds are only around 5-7 Mbps anyway) to around 10 considering less people are on the 700 MHz network?
