Hello, longtime lurker,. then I posted today. Yay., not much to say as all the guides and help.

I search the forums and find my answers. hadn't felt like posting for three years of being on android.

Heyho guys. I followed the XDA board for a long time, and so i decided to join the community ; )
My english is not perfect, I hope that will be not a problem. It's not my native language, but I'll try my very best ;)

Hello!

Canadian Mom of the next gen techno geek so trying to keep my own skills up so my kid doesn't disown me as tech retard when he hits his teens. Started off learning all about printers, now I know way too much about satellite and wireless broadcast internet, out dated on my Linux knowledge regretably - had a kid - had to learn about raising a human instead of how to program LOL. Found these forums because after I unlocked my phone and rooted it, it was still flashing it's branded boot animation and it was pissing me off. Thanks to XDA my phone does what I want it to do now! And I have found something new to pick away at learning. Which with me will go one of 2 ways - I'll give up very quickly or I'll be coming out with ROM's for the average housewife LOL - See you around the forums (well for now the Optimus one forums mainly - until my next phone or someone has a breakthrough with my cheapo Flare tablet) Have a great day unless you've made other plans!

    A slight downside of going through the site revamp 4 years ago is that, like in this instance, a lot of links in the old threads don't work and makes some of the information outdated. Just incase you haven't came across it yet, this is the new and updated new user guide - How To Navigate The XDA Forum.

    @Oswald Boelcke , or any other Senior Mod if you're quick enough 😂, as you edited the OP of the old New User Guide perhaps a link to the new one could be added to the top of the OP there? There probably won't be too many people who come across that thread first but it's happened here at least

    Ok, so I'll be the first one in a new thread. I found this forum when I was looking for something about rooting my X10 and custom ROM. I've found here everything that I was looking for and even more... Now I know how can I personalize my phone in million ways ;D
