pki101,

Found out myself that a reformat was needed.
Thanks for pointing me the right direction.

A70H with permanent root and Debian
Hello,

i have a A70H (Archos 70 IT 250GB) with the current software 2.4.19
and AVOS 2.4.19 root permanently.

Is there a way to boot an additional Linux (Debian) as rootfs.img?

UrukDroid does not work correctly.

Unfortunately need both (Android Froyo and Debian).

Sorry for my bad english.

many greetings
kwalter

You can only try to install the multiboot and then install Bodhi or debian Linux.
Don't know if it works correctly with the h model.

I am hoping to receive an Archos 101 for Christmas and was wondering if this root works fully? Does it allow super-user permissions?

yes you need the +rw package to modify /* contents. the non-rw package only allows you to modify /system/* contents
