If I dont use a2sd but instead just use the App2SD from the market, do I still need to create an ext partition? Im trying to install Nessy rom.

No need for the ext partition if you are not going to use the a2sd or data2sd..

any chance to update it?

Zecanilis or Noejn: Please note that openOptimus isn't 2.2.2 anymore. Also you should add ThunderSense.

Nice one sticky!! I hope you can update daily

(remember, there is no root available for 2.2.1 or to 2.2.2, you'll have to downgrade via KDZ flasher)


Can you remove this thing is 1st post,coz there is an app called gingerbreak.apk wich can root our stock 2.2.1 and 2.2.2 roms too,as it help some n00b's to stay with 2.2.1 or 2.2.2 without wasting their apps & time downgrading to 2.2 and rooting with z4root,need to clarify this on first post

gingerbreak.apk v1.2 can root 2.2.2 i confirmed it !

gingerbreak.apk works on 2.2.1 and 2.2.2 no issue
