Wind Mobile KitKat update
I just received a notification that there is an update available for my phone. I am S-Off. When I try running the update it boots into recovery (Philz Touch) and then back to my main screen. Any help would be appreciated.

In my experience with other phones, many OTA updates don't work with custom recoveries. So you could flash the stock recovery or run the RUU and then take the update.
Thank You but, I no longer have the stock recovery and there is no ruu for my provider yet.
My provider is Wind Mobile. Will I be able to update to kitkat via ota if I flash the recovery image in the first couple of pages? Thanks

Yesterday I upgraded my htc and reboot after the upgrade (the last 4.4) I do not work anymore wifi. I'm still stuck on "Activating in progress."
I've done hard reset but nothing ... what can I do? (before taking it in for service

I cant' s off and i can't upadate kk , i tried many tutorials but no chance
any idea for instruction???

That's where I would crap out. Make sure to delete all HTC/cell related software.
I uninstalled drivers too and installed HTC amaze drivers then it worked. Was it pure luck, I don't care. It's what worked.
Make sure to reboot computer/phone.
I think I deleted HTC sync but can't remember. Good luck and hopefully a smarter member will bemore useful

anybody on 4.4+ try the new Google Camera app yet? we still have about a week till our zara_cl update. so I just bookmarked it (& a few other 4.4 only apps) till then.

10ТAMPERED - shows that the guarantee came off ( as in the last boot from SGS4 - WARANTY BIT 1)
But in our case, it can be cured, only writes RELOCKED - and thus guarantee in place) (handed over to RELOCKED than one device )
1. Set the boot (unsecured) - fastboot flash boot boot_init.img
2 . Boot and enable developer mode ( repeatedly click on the " Version - > Advanced- > Build Number " )
3 . Download the revone: http://revolutionary.io/revone
4 . Load on the device - adb push revone /data/local/tmp/
5 . We go in the shell - adb shell (c boot unsecured all root- s commands work without root )
6. In shell :
cd /data/local/tmp
chmod 755 revone
./revone -t - TAMPERED disappear before your next intervention
7. Being in shell reboot into fastboot - reboot bootloader
8. Flash stock boot and recovery
fastboot flash boot boot_stock.img
fastboot flash recovery recovery_stock.img
9. Lock bootloader
fastboot oem lock
10 . EVERYTHING in the loader will only write RELOCKED
P.S. For those who have unlocked the bootloader and who writes TAMPERED
development HTC Desire 601/ZARA in my drive10Anyone want beats audio by default on stock Rom? If so thank this post. And I'll start cooking

TWRP 2.6.3.0 for Desire 601 (Virgin Mobile) specific. I am going to start cooking up AOSP, so these device specific recoveries will be required.
Just keep an eye at the link above for other stuff. I will post here when i upload something.
Also, this will be officially TWRP supported in the next few days.
