noob here

Worked on my F180L! THANKS A LOT DUDE!

Anyway, I would just like to suggest on making this Guide more noob friendly. I'm a noob myself and I'm saying that I wouldn't have succeeded if this is the only thread I've read.
Luckily, I knew how to enable usb debugging to succeed with backing up and restoration of IMEI and Baseband. I also knew how to flash.

If I may, I would like to suggest including links for flashing and also include notes on how to enable developer mode and enabling usb debugging.
Yea, that would be of great help for noobs like me, sir

i have converted many time my lg f180k to e975 but after kitkat update i done successfully update imei and signal is also done but after all i can't open my sim contact also no name in sms just number ,
i have also noticed that after convert f180k to e975 4.1 or 4.4 mic sound and earpiece sound become half ,
first time in convert i loose my imei and signal then

the with wrong baseband my set become dead

then i write dump and convert again

i have all equired files and experience but original soft is good ,
so just back to f180k with 4.4.2 just great converting makes many trouble .

Convert to e975 KK

+ Copy back folder "Backup_Imei" to phone memory ~~and replace modem.img with F180S/L/K you have~~
+ Rum "Restore_Imei.bat"
+ Install "SQLite editer" from Google play to open "settings.db" in location "Data\data\com.android.providers.settings\databases" select "global" -> find "subscription_mode" change value "1" to "0" then save and exit.
+ Reboot Phone and Signal will back with any F180S/L/K with E975 Kitkat Rom

Boom F180K/S/L convert to E975 Stockrom will have singal (3G/2G), SMS with 3G/2G too - I'm not tested LTE
LTE also work too, thank for reported

My F180K work suscess with this

my lg optimus f180l home and search and back buttons and screen freezes how should i do?
when it was jelly bean i converted it to e975 and yesterday i tried to update it but failed and i have updated soon but screen comes and freezes and home, search, back buttons are not working plzz help me

Is In JB 4.1.2 your home, search, back working right? In KK it not function?
Try flash back to JB with cse flash and test again? They work, try flash KK again, if not take phone to service centre to fix for you. Maybe it help you!

yes it was working.. i installed JB 4.1.2 again. and installed KK again but still same.. could plz tell me steps to flash my phone?

It's simple edit build.prop to fix korean stockrom, maybe help you!

I couldn't backup IMEI, ADB don't recognize

Please help me to solve this matter.
Phone on : LG software mode
this 'Backup...' folders on compressed folder.
this is the pictures:
what I'm doing wrong? My laptop is win8.1 64.
Any specific location where I have to put this 'Backup...' folder have to put and run this backup IMEI.bat file?

Need Help on Converting my F180L

Hello,

I have read the tutorial you have posted. But I'm newbie So can you guide me properly before i brick my Phone.

I have LGF180L with Koren Apps 4.4.2 KK version updated.

Have few confusion and concern.

1 - Through which tool i can flash the KDZ file ? and what steps should i take.
2 - Do i need to flash this V30C Rom. (Can't i directly flash the Hong kong-V20a Rom and try to root)

Kindly let me know.

I'dont know why, I unlock bootload with freegree then recovery TWRP, flash CM11 newest will lose IMEI, can't call or enter any network. Should KDZ back to 4.1 then unlock bootload with Muiltitool and recovery CWM then everything fine!

If you newbee, you should becareful and must read and do backup (IMEI and baseband) first.

+ No need to flash this V30C if you have IMEI and baseband of your F180, this step is for newest baseband of your phone!

Becarefull, it hard for beginer but having fun if you done!

Well. I have download the Base band from the Previous Message you have shared. "Patch_baseband_L_kitkat_30c"
But as the next step is to root the Phone. i'm unable to do so. why ROOTOPTIMUSG tool.

I have tried on Installing latest driver and all the required things. Even try to root on MTP and on Charging Mode both with Debugging ON and Unknown Sources Allowed.

Becarefull, this tool is good for convert your F180L but, I see this maybe you didn't allow root for ABD command. keep screen on when you run this tool, it will ask you allow root permistion!
