I turned my usb debugging mode on and it is still not working. it is still at that error code 7 place.. HELP!!

Which recovery mode are you on when installing the root file- Stock or CWM?
Which files did you use? did you flash CWM5.x?
Try to extract your sdcard and then put it back

i used the files which mentioned in the first msg of this forum
i put that files in my sd card and did the steps for rooting

model number - GT S5830i
android version - 2.3.6
baseband version - S5830iDDLI1
kernal version - 2.6.35.7 dpi@DELL165#1
build number - GINGERBREAD.XXLI1
Wooops! STOP HERE MATE! or you could brick your device, this is he GT-S5830 section, DON'T TRY TO USE NOTHIG FROM GT-S5830 MODEL or you'll kill your phone

i found it extremely hard to actually download the root file because websites like hot file were full of adverts and fake links, so I've made it much easier - http://www.yourfilelink.com/get.php?fid=832963
Rooting for 2.3.3 (Thanks to Russian forum-user with nickname may213) (if it doesn't work try D method):
- Download attached file called upd_1.zip and copy it to your sdcard
- Turn off your phone
- Press POWER+HOME BUTTON
- Select update from sdcard, select the file upd_1.zip
- After the update completed - reboot
- Now you have rooted S5830
