I faced the same problem and I tried to flash using odin. But my phone was not detected. Could you please post the steps you follow and the odin version you used.

this is my progress
1st
i'm trying to make custome rom by kitchen
first thing status 0 errore
trying other meta.inf
rom installing but sim card not work
so i need anyhelping to make rom working
2nd
yesterday i try to port xperia E dual rom to our but not work that is easy
but that is not easy when i trying the xperia e dual rom with out porting its run but have some problem
sdcard not working and brightness of screen and phone make restart more than time
that is all and any one can help us we are here

atleast sum one is trying to make a rom...well had i hv some knowledge in porting roms i would have do it...i kno nothing more except c and c++ programming basics...

today other trying of porting xperia e dual rom using port manufacturers rom
giued
the rom work with same old bugs and new onw same like stock rom tht is no sim card inserted
at all when using porting rom this is bugs
no sim card inserted but with e dual rom sim card working good
screen lock not woring
cameria not working
sdcard unmounted
brightnees not working successfully 2 level only

with custome rom of stock
twlancher run with 5 bottom
sim card not inserted
and rooting is done finally by using other busybox

after installing update from cwm theme s4 starts and I get stuck on android written, I had to reinstall the original ROM.
i tried all this zips and uploaded
working fine to me
try to push it in system using any root explorer
