Had some problems with efs/imei/sound. Started from scratch with 1 click gremlin remover and followed the second option w/efs backup n restore install instructions. Now everything running like a champ!
Would recommend this method for any one having problems. Most likely if you are experiencing any issues, they are not due to the rom but likely from another source.

read through the thread, it's a known issue... The bt works fine though, just click through the fc and bt works

Confirmed this. It is just a fc for bluetooth share, but bt works like a charm.
This fw is almost perfect, really love it. But still feels like the battery life is not as good as I expected. Is there any fix/update should apply and I missed?

There are a few work around you can find in the various threads for the CM7 based roms. But it is an issue with CM7 itself, which is being worked on...

Man I was not even thinking of ETA's, just wanted to mention MIUI is the real thing, not like all those Chinese made replicas... (LOL I know MIUI is Chinese as well).
Do you plan on submitting your work to MIUI and get official eventually, like Team Acid does for CM7?

I would have to disagree that force closing the Bluetooth still allows full use of it... I'm having a lot of connection issues with my devices...
The only Bluetooth device I use is the headset and it seems to work fine after the initial two FC issues that I just ignore. Then I have no Bluetooth issues. But every time the BT is enabled I get two FCs but that does not seem to interfere with the usage of BT for my purposes.
It only works for audio... No file transfer or anything like that

Mine works for file transfer, sent a movie to my buddy's Evo 3D. Never back down 2 to be exact
Has anyone tried anything that they can share regarding battery life improvement and GPS? I have searched this thread and found a GPS fix that works but takes a good amount of time for a location fix every time.
Love the Miui Rom, any suggestion as to battery life improvement will be greatly appreciated.
I did try flashing another kernel but device got stuck in a loop plus I was not even sure what kernel to flash or if there is even an alternative kernel for MIUI Rom.

For fixes on rom I say wait on update I hear OP is close to getting a job so he'll have time to update
And this rom is on mtd and currently we only have one mtd kernel and that's the one team acid has provided us so don't flash any other kernel as they are bml

38Ok here we go second rom this is ported from Vibrant rom 2.1.20
This is a WIP and it does have some bug which will be posted under bugs section. Installation will be under install instructions. Screenies will probably not be needed as we all know what MIUI looks like

Installation Instructions:
FIRST AND FOREMOST BACKUP DATA BEFORE FLASHING AS CHANGES IN MIUI DO NOT ALLOW FOR DATA RESTORE THROUGH AROMA from another rom. If you are updating from earlier Miui releases then you can backup data.
Place rom in the root of sd card
Reboot to recovery
Install zip from sdcard
choose zip from sdcard
Flash rom by following aroma installer.
Choose either Quick or Custom Install and only restore data if your coming from an earlier miui.
After flash is done let it sit for 10 minutes...or you'll regret it
After install clear data and cache from market if you restore data and all apps will now show
Bugs:
Weak Vibration
No ringer(yes different port still no luck if you bug about it without helping ill slap u lol)
Camcorder goes 7 seconds and stops
You tell me.

Changelog
First this is a big update mainly because it's
an MTD miUI eventhough i didn't use cm as base it does
have their kernel and bt fix so thanks team acid
- this is an updated version of miui , its miui 2.3.17 (i9000 port)
- bt fixed thanks to cm
- most things you'll have to check it out for yourself.
Installation: (follow it exactly if not I wont help because you can't read)
First Method:
Use CM7 installation intructions.
Second Method:
1 .Download the following:
efs-backup link : efs-backup
efs-restore link : efs-restore
miui-Revenge-mtd rom *check md5 posted below download link*
2. Place those three files in root of your sd card
3. Backup data with Titanium Backup or whatever app you use (optional)
4. Reboot to recovery
5. Do a Nandroid Backup
6. Flash EFS-Backup
7. Backup sd card to your computer ( you can do this by going to mounts and storage
and mount USB storage, this way you wont leave recovery and the efs backup is in there too)
8. Flash miui-Revenge-mtd (it will start then reboot itself into blue cwm)
9. Go to Mounts and Storage
10. Format System
11. Mount System
12. Go back to main menu
13. Wipe data/factory reset
14. Go into Install zip from sdcard
15. Choose zip from sdcard
16. Flash efs-restore
17. Flash miUI-Revenge-mtd
18. Reboot.
19. Let it sit for 10 mins or so.
20. Enjoy.

okay guys this is a biggie of an oopdate
First and Foremost I'd like to say thomas.raines has joined
team Kick-Ass so as you can imagine first thing in changelog is
Added Lighting Zap (thanks thomas)
Added Hampsterblade's vibrator fix kernel
Added fully working Miui Extended Settings
Fixed Apps2sd failing at times.
Fixed that annoying Move2sd card popup on every boot now it's only on first boot.
Fixed Browser force closing on pinch to zoom
Fixed Firewall(DND) force close - test and if it doesnt work report with LOGS
Fixed Market now you should be able to find all apps
Fixed Screenshots not saving
Removed some bloat like Miui forums(not all , not yet)
Changed some bluetooth stuff but no bluetooth to test so again logs.

Faster boot time, more stable, updated codebase, non-OC version, and faster in general. link is in my signature.6For those wanting vibrate. Here's a fix. I pushed it to AntonX so it should be included in future releases. This is the v5 kernel, it has the OC/UV in it, and I added a vibrate fix to the kernel.
Note: this is only for BML, vibrate works in MTD.
