Galaxy Young GT-S6310 Development Thread

Who has X-Sam Duos or any unofficial ROM and uses ADB? After installing the ROM, only "ADB devices" and "ADB root" (output adbd cannot run as root in production builds) work. Other commands fail without any output. Has to do with Root? This ROM has SuperSU, does it provide root access? E.g. in KingRoot, you need to allow APKs to install, otherwise you get an error, in this case commands are not executed, end in nothing.
What's the lastest android version Stable ROM for this device?
Also can I flash TWRP, ROM, meant for the S6310 on the s6310T?
And can I update the firmware on my s6310T with any firmware?

For some reason the phone is not getting into bootloader even when pressing up (nor does it cancel when presses down)
Also it's not showing up in Odin or adb (probably missing a driver), andy help would be greatly appreciated!

oke guys, i think i need to share this my work. for those users who have dsixda kitchen to help customize or create a rom or deodex, etc. this time I will give you a file that dsixda kitchen support for our phone, so we do not need to to edit the updater-script when you're done cooking, so we can to directly flashing the file without editing updater-script again... so easy and helping right? i hope i can help you all
so, what we need?
1. download this file first -> http://d-h.st/kas
2. move the file above to Cygwi/home/user/kitchen/tools/edify_defs/here
3. now the time for testing, created a file deodex or another what you want. adding script/lib/file root/busybox or etc then make it
4. after done, now we can directly to flash it via CWM and look it works or not

You'll need to install the Samsung USB drivers in order for Odin to recognize the phone.

First, I'm really glad you people make the new ROMs and TWRP. I try to now move away from my modern phone because I'm so dependent and addicted to it, but I still need to use WhatsApp to communicate with everyone, and Google Maps to know where I am in a new city! Thanks to your mods, I'll be able to do it all on my first ever phone, elongating its lifespan and be able to distance myself to the extreme comfort of chronically online on a modern fast phone.
That being said, it doesn't mean I hadn't encountered issues... the first one is that in TWRP, both 28.6 and 3.0.0 it will not recognize my micro SD card. I really don't know why, and someone had encountered this issue before, but it doesn't seem look he solved it....
Another thing I'm worried about is that there is no development on the newer androids, like 7, and with the new android 14 dropping all 32x programs and apps developed for android 5.x or lower... We need a new android port for this phone.
Lastly, the source code was removed from GitHub and I found no backup... I don't know...
If you have a solution for my first problem it would be greatly appreciated, and if any cool programmer wanna fix the other two haha i'd be super happy xd

Tips & info:
Do not touch anything in trickster voltage control, my method is not supported by Trickster and new method will be really really hard to implement in my kernel, because our chip is old. I will provide my script to undervolt soon.
Flash via CWM.
Flash WiFi modules only it it won't work.
Flash NFC modules only on 6310N and if it won't work.
