hi guys ,
my htc one hangs in the boot screen.
i wanted to do a OTA to 4.4.
my htc one is rooted. but to do a ota you have to flash the stock recovery back on the phone which i did.
so i flashed and i did the ota.
when i tried to start the phone. it just keeps booting and does nothing even afther 8 hours. so i restarted a few times still didn't work.
can someone help me ?
thanks.

I just happened to notice during the boot . he doesn't show the animation but the screen turn pink then green and then it shows the HTC one screen. (with the beats logo at the bottom)

so in short. he doesn't show the animation during the boot.

So your phone did NOT do the update. You should try:

Unlock Bootloader if it is locked

Install stock recovery for 3.62.401.1 http://d-h.st/WJ8

fastboot flash recovery stock_3.62.401.1.img
fastboot reboot-bootloader

See if you can enter recevery from bootloader menu and do a factory reset?

If factory reset doesn't bring phone up, then you will need to flash a custom recovery TWRP 2.6.3.3 and either use adb push or adb sideload a sense based rom, this is really long recovery process if factory reset doesn't work.
