I waiting 4.2.x because of performance improvement (yes yes, even more), lockscreen widgets and settings, because I prefer only pattern lock, and other samsung 4.2.x and android 4.2.x features.

R there any features of the s3 ROM that can be ported over for the n7100 such as the lock screen?

I remember getting 4.2.1 on my nexus 7 before I sold it and it was horrible. Laggy and the battery was terrible. I hope they sort these problems before the official release.

I wasn't able to transfer files with bluetooth between note 2 (4.1.2) and nexus 4 (4.2.1). Now the nexus 4 is 4.2.2 it works.
It seems to me that the 4.2.1 is an unachieved version.

I think samsung will release Jelly Bean 4.2 for Note II after releasing Galaxy S4 which of course come with Jelly Bean 4.2.

Photosphere might be good on Nexus but the stock Samsung camera is better suited for the Samsung phone. We had it on S3 and they stop porting it because it was not so good.

I have the aosp camera side loaded with the stock Samsung camera on my phone. I used photosphere twice and it was mostly just for ****s and giggles. It's cool but it's not really a game changer or anything. The most annoying aspect is that almost nothing will decode the image and display it correctly.

I agree I had 4.2.1 on my nexus and it does suck. Be happy with 4.1.2 until 4.3 or 5 or whatever comes next.

Yes, I bought Nexus 7 with 4.1.1 and it was fast, cool, everything great. Then I got 4.1.2 update and things started breaking down :( It became sluggish, couple of minor things had problems... and it was not solved in 4.2.0, nor in 4.2.1 (which was a bit better) but finaly in 4.2.2. Even though I still feel 4.1.1 is the best JB to date. 4.2.2 got multiuser functionality which can make it slower, but this probably won't be implemented on a phone :)
