Phone FC
Hello !

I tried to install this ROM few hours ago but got a phone app FC just after boot.
I tried to install it a second time with full wipe : same thing...

After each push on "ok", the po-up came back 5-10 seconds after !

Did I missed something or did something wrong ?

Thanks for your help !!

I have a test kernel for external SD. Can people with external SD test and see whether external SD works in ROM and/or TWRP?

Did you try to clear data and cache of the Dialler app?

Went back to 4/01 build
downloaded build 24/01 again (this time from PC)
flashed again, no go. Stuck at this awful blinking druid.

And there's even a worse problem.
I have another S1 (without sim card)
Did factory reset and installed 24/01 build
On startup I get the google setup wizard, select language, and then offered to inert sim, when I select "Skip", I get a force close, and back to language selection.

You have to disable the "Low Memory" switch in MacKay Settings before flashing the 24/01 build.

Well, I've tried and got a bootloop. I am right now creating a logcat with ADB and I will attach it here within few minutes.

I've flashed the kernel and rebooted recovery, no changes with the external SD card: it was still displaying "0MB" (and there are some 27GB free space )

I will try to reboot now into the recovery mode again and wipe dalvik and cache....
EDIT: Wiping cache and dalvik in recovery mode has helped, my i9000 boots now (optimizing apps...)

Nevertheless: logcat attached....

WOOT?
I will give it a try, even though I think it is not needed.
I believe the flashing script says something like "...resetting mackay settings"
Which includes low mem? or not?

I am right now enjoying my bootloop few minutes longer just to see it...

OK, thanks for testing, I will dive a bit deeper into this external SD thing. Just wanted to try a quick potential fix, but that seems to have not helped.
