what's about JB kernel with linaro? it's in the page from us download the gapps.....is it working on defy? or is it of other phone?

do we need to flash cm9 kernel if we're on cm9 froyo?

because i didn't flash it and boot up! :D

Is it possible to run it in multiboot? I've tried with no success.
I'll flash it on nand, :p

Don't think so... Remember: locked bootloader...which means that you can't load custom kernels over it..... But i'm going to check that out to see if some of linaro can be ported as modules for defy kernel

AWEASON..new stuffs

Well. i trayed it and it flys, very smooth i didn't notice major changes from ICS it's like the pass between froyo-gingerbread.

Changes:
-new loock screen (aweason!:good:)
-NEW notification bar. (very cool:cool:)
-NO toggles (i didn´t see it, so bad :()
-NEW animations ( i got it in ICS too with a mod :p )
-NEW search bar
-NEW dev options some is about gpu (i liked the one says kill apps when you close it, don´t keep in bg:good:)
-NEW status icons in settings
i think it's all

cam isn't working yet but i'm happy because this is a pre-alpha and works very good!!! DEFY ROCKS!!!:highfive:

I thought it was a troll thread, really awesome, hope all stuff from ics (latest hwui stuff) can be used also in this rom or adapt it ^^ gj guys

If I have the original Defy with green lense, do I have to install the Gingerbread kernel before install the new Quarx Jelly Bean ROM or I just can't. ?

We got the best team on XDA. It is incredible to see the development. If it wasn't for you guys I would have probably bought some other phone. Really appreciate the devs. Thank you!

    I appreciate some of the comments here about the difficulty of keeping threads like this cleaned and organized, especially with so many users not following instructions. However, this is the job I signed up for, so it's not a big deal. :)

    That being said, since nothing else seems to be working, I'm going to temporarily close this to force people to use the other support threads for this ROM. If you have a legitimate bug to report and serious question that needs answering, use the support threads (an absolute last resort would be PMing the developer). This will be reopened at the appropriate time.

    Android 4.2 has new libc/linker, which breaks compatibility with old moto binaries. Need some time to fix it:)

    Please try this ramdisk and check battery http://quarx2k.ru/ramdisk
